I was asked to empty my pockets in the GW in Norwich once, I must've been 14. It was just my over stuffed wallet tho, full of cash that I decided to not spend at that GW

I'm coming back to this video about 4 hours after watching it because I was thinking about some things you said, and it gave me a HUGE amount of perspective on some issues I've been having, which I'm currently working on composing into my own hobby nightmare story. Thanks North!

This story was absolutely ENGAGING. I was vividly imaging everything. Nids. Whoever you are. Write a mystery novel. Or even short story. Cause they way it was presented. Golden.

Love the story Nids, fantastic writing. I think one thing I would suggest when he wasn't able to provide a receipt (because duh) would have been to ask where the box was for the model he built. As he had stated that the package was opened and assembled in the store. If he could prove a second packaging, especially one with the price marker you pointed out, then I would have been more willing to believe his innocence. If he said something like "I opened it at home and left the package there" That would give you something to have parents look for when contacted as a means of proving his innocence. Ultimately it does seem that your intuition was correct, and I think you did a fine job of broaching the subject of theft. He definitely displayed signs of wrong doing during your investigation, and really didn't have any solid evidence to suggest he wasn't the thief. But I would still argue that maintaining the presumption of innocence is important, and goes a long way when it comes to building trust with those around you in your store. People should know that you will hear them and be willing to give them the opportunity to prove their innocence.

Just started my personal "Winter Break" from school. I am catching up on these and I am thrilled you made it to 15k subs and are highlighting Movember. The dad in the last story is in dire need of a book called No More Mr. Nice Guy. I highly recommend it. I was that guy in my past and being in a 12-step program I plan to write in my own Hobby testimony during my break from school, would welcome someone holding me accountable here. For tonight, I am moving on to listen to another episode now as I build some minis. Cheers **in American accent**

It's so important that boys get the message you are sharing. I don't think my dad has said “Please” more than 10 times. He is in his 80’s. He tells me precisely what a prick I am and how I am that prick. I rebel for 10 minutes but he is always right. He never hit me, but I was always aware that violence would be returned if I pushed him too much. A psychologist called it something but I forget. Basically, my Father is loving and kind but does not say I love you. He shows his love with action. Like driving me in the dark to the train station tonight. He didn't say I love you have a good day, he showed me what love is and then acted. Mental health for my age range is so important. I was suicidal for a few years. I was very ill and every day was hell. I had a physical problem with my stomach but I buried that pain with opiates ‘ ALL OF THEM’. It was my father that took my broken soul to the hospital multiple times. Never asked me for anything and was so calm to counter my utter dread. I eventually had surgery and no longer wanted to die. I then overdosed and died accidentally. My father came into the hospital. I had opiate blockers in me and was going through a full opiate purge. Think “Trainspotting”. He came to my bed and said only this. “So it feels pretty shit overdosing. Oh is that you're piss on the floor?” and walked off. I had three days to change my life, kill myself or live. That was 3 years ago and like the movie I chose life. As I know personally what it's like to want to die daily. It puts responsibility on me to check with my friends and keep an eye on myself. It’s ironic after wanting to die for years then got the surgery I needed and started to feel well. I accidentally killed myself and I brought back but very angry A&E nurse shouting at me saying she was about to jump up and down on my chest. I had a very personal healing experience and no longer fear death, but in no rush to get there, I might sound a bit mad and to be fair I have abused my body so much so I probably am. Warhammer is stabling influence in my life all of these channels with the law and the community. Keep me on an even keel. I like what you said by echo chambers, it’s important to hear other people's arguments and to make up your mind. To show love with action rather than words. Thank you for putting this message across. Sorry if the grammar is incorrect to my spelling wrong, but I hope this story lets people know that you can escape from the darkest place and find peace. 💯❤️🤖🫡

I admit I kinda wish it was a big misunderstanding and Dave actually didn’t steal anything and he was either set up or did actually buy those things but was being blamed for something he didn’t do but frankly I’m not surprised that he did actually steal that stuff.

On the contrary my mum was the enforcer and I got done for shop lifting a porno mag when I was 12 for a dare with my school mates. She came down the police station belt in hand lashed it on the table scaring the shit out of me and the policemen in the room. I think they concluded that I was in significantly more trouble from my mum than I would ever be from them and let me go with a caution. My dad's response was if you're gonna nick something at least make sure it's worth getting nicked for.

Yeah boys need men in their lives and it’s obvious this dad didn’t really do anything massive and it was mostly the mom punishing him. I was waiting for the dad to do or say something, anything. He comes in stoic looking and so the kid knows he’s done for and then at the right moment the dad comes in and makes it known he’s very disappointed with his son and tells the officer and the employee this won’t happen again and the boy will be punished

I cannot believe the shitty thing to call the police on a youth instead of just talking with his parents, so bureaucratic and mean to give a friends brother a permanent register. If the parents wouldn’t remedy the situation then by all means you should call the governments bully boys but this before even trying smells of a bullied weak man getting a kick out of hurting another human.
