I love the SC trainer V2. Very comfortable and stable. Excellent energy return. I use them with thick socks become they are really wide. I do long recovery runs in them. Running at Tempo effort is OK but you feel the size of the shoe.

That plastic on top of lacing definitely digs into the foot

for me i did back to back days in this 10k at 6:50 pace and a 5k at 6:46, and both felt effortless in the prime x strung 2

I don’t really like the outsole of the SC trainer. It tends to catch stones and tons of mud. I also found it to be a bit slippery on wet roads.

little while ago i got into david goggins and see that he runs alot and im overweight and im looking into running and a little walking ive seen the brand hoka and the website recommendeds the bondi 8 and the mach 5 and my foot is a little wider since im overweight is this a good choice? or could i go with the nike invincible 3?

Hi competitive distance runner here also work at a shoe store! I’d recommend shoes like Acis Gel Nimbus 25, Hoka Bondi 8 and the NB1080 v 13! If you’re an overweight runner and need extra cushion and support
