My favorite part about seeing contests like this is seeing how even when given the same foundation, everyone has their own interpretation of it and it truly feels like there are endless variations that can be born from the same original piece

A lot of these remind me of Frank Gamble, the absolute GOAT of technical tasty fusion.

One of my favorite bands that does a ton of synth and guitar unison stuff is Persefone. Check them out if you haven't before

So many amazing entries! I really wanted to try and make one myself, but all of these guys are insane shredders and I'm not at all. I was kinda late seeing that the contest was a thing, then I watched a ton of the entries and was like, NOPE! I'm primarily a rhythm player, and when I play leads, they're usually slower melodic sections, not very technical. Lol

Amazing top 10! Surprised I didn't make the Honorable mentions though, at least for my whammy outro.
