Do you think touching hair many times still masculine? I see it so weird. More than girls do..

The video starts out with him posing a hypothetical music theory question, answers it initially with "I don't know..." and tells the viewers [in his own words] that "this isn't going to be very good", and then proceeds to ascend all guitar IQ on the fly. This guy is literally my guitar hero.

How can you not love this guy... bravo!

Every time I hear him play it's always a joyful vibe, it's really enchanting. His whole heart goes into it, love it!

I wished something similar more than a decade ago. After I learned the guitar intro I wanted, I became dissatisfied again. 😂😂 So, it's a NO for me 😂

I usually have such feelings, but immediately I get it. I'll move on to another challenge and end up with I started.

I don't care about this current age of Instagram neo-soul guitar wannabes, BUT Mateus' style is still so beautiful and smooth and pleasant and melodic. He's definitely in a league of his own. His style always inspires me to explore more melodies and chordwork, but sounding like him is definitely a challenge.

Thoroughly enjoyable video, Rick! As an older player, I went back to 09s probably two years ago (I started having joint and arthritis issues). I needed to not “overwork” my hands. Originally, I thought that my tone would become too thin or brittle. However, I was rapidly reminded that tone knobs and equalizers are magnificent things. Not only did my tone not suffer, I prefer it to when I played 10s.

First time I have heard his music . Will look for more . Real cool guy great interview🤘

The best thing is that he’s amazing from clean acoustic guitar all the way to very distorted solos/riffs. Mateus is exquisitely complete
