To me the most amazing thing, aside from perfect positioning, is his composure (and quick decision making), he never panicks. Often seeks and makes passes on the first touch, right as he clears the ball (6:12 like no way I'd see that pass in a game, with a minimap and top down view and all that). 6:06 "another day in the office" vibe lol. Moments like 7:58 show he just reads body language like an open book - got the idea of what's going on before the opponent started a run for the pass, and even abandoned the closest 1v1 marking as he realized that's not an option for a pass anymore. We love the flashy stuff, I do too; but now I sit for more than half an hour on this video (yes) just to tryna understand what happened in the more subtle moments. Thanks for highlighting all of that, Thiago Silva deserves all the praise.
