I loved the story about your patient. It resonates with me, we had to stop our vanlife adventures because my wife had a heart transplant and suffered a stroke. She wasn't able to bathe for a month. When her OT gave her first shower we all cried because of how happy it made her feel. We take little things for granted and I'm sure you really did make her feel better. It was sweet that you thought of your patient's needs during your 20-minute downtime. Thanks for doing what you do. Mads is funny "Bathe all of the street people". lol

I had ankle surgery three months ago and tals and Mad made recovery fun and pleasant😁😊✌️and even before 😊

I’m sooooooooo jealous that you were at Tecalote - my absolute favorite beach. When I lived in LaPaz, I never saw so many vans on the beach. Things have certainly changed there! Disfruta tu tiempo en Baja Sur🇲🇽❤️

I have personally been a patient such as you described. In my opinion, Nurses are angels on earth! You two Deserve this vacation. God bless you both!

It’s true about showers when hospitalized. I once was in ICU for 2 weeks. When I went into a private room that shower was everything. You are an angel.

You make travelling in a confined space look easy. It's clear you two love each other and get along. That explains the mostly calm and happy videos.

This makes me sooo happy watching this! My partner, pooch (of course) and I are did this trip last year, love to see it. Keep the good vibes comin 🌞🌊🚐

With all you packed in the van, I hope there was room for some sunscreen lotion. No sunburns wanted. Just fun and relaxing in the warm sun! 😎

Gals, get a code reader for the van. It plugs in to the same port the mechanic uses to read your check engine light. They're Bluetooth compatible & will tell you what a code means & how urgent any repair might be. Some will even give you estimates of repairs based on your model. They're not very expensive & well worth the added peace of mind. Safe travels

Love your videos! Your cold shower bit made me want to share a tip. My wife and I were camping near the Salton Sea and she went to take a shower. I told her to come back to the van if it was cold. She didn’t return for awhile so I figured it must be a hot shower. Nope. Here’s the deal. We have a BOSS portable water heater. So I can take it into a cold shower and still have a hot shower. Just wanted to share that tip. Don’t suffer like my wife. Always have a hot shower 😊
