Also i may add speed is just as much about weight than the power of your motor a v6 engine is lighter than a v8 as well. I support you man most people that have srt anything can barely afford the gas or insurance on them so you winnin.

It is not just the engine that needs to be swapped. Tranny, rear end gearing, Drive shaft, brakes, suspension, anti roll bar, interior, ecu, Harness, Bigger fuel pump , A/C Lines, complete engine with all accessories. Full exhaust system with catalytic converters. And when you get it inspected, it can not have any check engine light. This is to do it the right way. If you can not to the work your self, dont even bother. You will also not find a capable mechanic that is wiling to invest his time. You might find a Hack mechanic that will take your money and you car will be sitting around for 6 mos. Sell that V6 and get what you really want. Quit messing around with conversion when you can just buy one for $5k more

Looking at having a Supercharger installed on my sines SVX V6. Outs the HP around 425-450. Would make for a fun car! It’s the same dark Gray color as yours. 2016. Black wheels, rear spoiler. Looks sharp. Just bought it for him a couple of weeks ago.

I rented a Charger just like that without the paint on the wheels, and I like the look of those wheels stock. Same color car too. Comfy highway cruiser and A to B car, enough power from the V6 and dont think its really necessary for a V8 to daily. One of my favorite things is the stereo controls on the rear of the steering wheels, Dodge did it right. For my first visit to Neptunes Net, I had this Dodge Charger rental car and we sat in the same booth that they filmed the Fast and Furious scene in :) maybe but it was just so cool that it played out like that on my last day in California. It was foggy when I pulled up and then the sun was shining bright when we sat down. Happy weekending to you

If you going to do swap don’t do 6.4 unless your going 426 or 411 stroker if you plan on boost but a 5.7 stroked to 392 and add hellcat supercharger you’ll be at stock hellcat power, pair that power to the 8hp90 capable of handling 900-950 hp

My guy you cant just put a bigger engine in it you have to change the tranny wiring harnesses and the rearend at that point you may as well just go pay the money for it already put together. It looks like the same car but it aint.

You could be making a world beater if you swap out the V6 for a HYPER horsepower V8, but you'll probably spend more than the difference in price of a ScatPack just getting all of that stuff necessary to do it right, lots of parts that must be switched when you convert. V8s are heavier, the transmission and differential are not rated for higher torque that's in the higher-powered motors, and you still won't have anything close to a ScatPack or Demon in future value, as those nameplates are specific to their VINs. The value will be in your eyes only, and not many will see your converted whip like it's anything close to those specialty upgraded Chargers or Challengers. If you love it, then who gives a fuck what anyone thinks? Just don't get a big surprise if you try to sell it for what you have paid into it. Ther will need to be a specialty buyer that understands the modifications you are making and what they are worth. If you think I'm bullshitting you, just ask an insurance company if it gets stolen or totaled, will you get you money that you have into it or will you get the current market value of a plain-Jane V6 Charger with similar mileage? I bought a brand-new Sublime 2023 Challenger R/T Plus for $6K under MSRP, just so that I can justify slapping a supercharger on it. I didn't want the Shaker hood, because it doesn't mean added horsepower, it's only flex. The wheels that came on my whip are great, they look cool and with the right tires, and what does it matter if I didn't spend thousands on really expensive rims? The TR6060 Tremec 6-speed is bullet proof up to 900 HP, so it stays, I'm just getting a close throw Barton shifter (my first upgrade) to replace the crappy MOPAR slop box they call a shifter. I have fun driving it now, and I'll make my upgrades over time, and a few years later, with the things I'll be doing to my Challenger, no bone stock ScatPack or Hellcat will be able to catch me.

2021 Challenger Scat pack widebody here, we got brembos🤭 you have to have a widebody tho. For the money a scat is definitely worth it. V6 is good for daily when your looking to save money. I daily mine, 25mpg driving the freeway

Slim body scars have brembos as well only r/t trim and v6s don’t come with brembos some rts have the brembo package from dodge from factory but it’s not worth the 7k upgrade tbh

@@ycmtay683 V8, because you will still be spending money as you try to save for the v8, the v6 will keep depreciating and it can end with a lot of negative equity when you try to trade it. Get what you want as is. Insurance will depend who the company is, your age, driving record and coverages. My scat get over 26 and 27 mpg average on the freeway because of the MDS. Just get a v8 if that's what your wanting mate.

@@ExoticKobe YEP, but don't forget to mention my guy, one has 4 piston and one has 6. The widebody comes with the more beefy 6 piston brakes. The widebody also has better dampening suspended, handling and wider tires for grip. For 6k to 7k its pretty worth it.

Honestly their forcing us to buy these cars mustang dodge camero just for a v8 what happen to the modern day cars like ford taurus or chevy malibu they dont have multiple option those are nice cars they all have 4 cyl its kinda wack how they doing us

@@ulyredeyehellcat874 They started putting the Bembo name on the 4 piston calipers at some point. It might have been 2018 or 2019? Before that though, without ordering the Dynamics Package or having an SRT model, they were not Brembo brakes.
