I just want to say that since I started going to this technical college for automotive engineering, I’ve been looking for videos about swapping engines from chargers and I came across your channel. I’m still watching this build till the end and it is building my inspiration more to save up to one day swap my 2007 dodge charger with either a scat pack engine or hellcat

Couldn't be watching this at a better time. My 3.6L engine bit the dust 2 months ago. Spent 2 months diagnosing everything to just finally say the engine is toast. Don't wanna get a car note but I can put money into just building a motor swapped vehicle.

before a motor swap you should do a scatpack or hellcat LSD swap. Get both of them tires spinning simultaneously, makes any dodge more performative and capable.

THANKYOU for saying it, I get so tired of people saying sell the car and buy this. I make almost 200k I can afford a scat or better, I agree with what you said, I actually like to (Build) my car. If I buy the highest build of a car, theres little to ish I need to do to it. Me building my car is a hobby. That’s like asking someone to buy a game that comes with a 100% save file verse buying and beating the game yourself.

Yea i always wanted to do an engine swap. I got about 18,000 dollars worth of work done on my v6 challenger. Ive always been told its just easier to trade in your v6 challenger for the v8. But cause of the 18 grand i put in my v6 challenger im already not getting my money back. I got the hellcat kit and kid you not it has fooled people. They're always like danm nice hellcat what year. And i always stop them and say its an hell kitten 😆 so i always contemplate about getting a v8. My v6 is a 2011 dodge challenger se and only has 63,000 miles on it. And that's why its hard for me to make a decision. Definitely putting a v8 in it would be a cherry on top. I got it lowered hellcat wheels hell cat hood and front bumper with duck flare fin spoiler its the toxic orange color and the hood is black and the spoiler. Would love to have the v8.

Hey, so I’m doing a 5.7L hemi swap on my 2006 dodge charger sxt 3.5L.I don’t really know too much about cars, was just stopping by to see if anyone had any tips, or good information I should know about, before performing this swap. I’m also documenting this on my channel and learning as I go.

What’s your advice to someone who want to do this but know nothing about working on cars ?

Thank you for the information. I can't decide whether to supercharge my 3.6L or do a full swap. I have found a few pages that sell full Hemi swaps that include the cluster ,transmission etc. @ 9k. Ive already upgraded my suspension. Will take a a year or 2 to have enough for the full swap which will total up @ >20k. That's why Im thinking going RIPP on the 3.6L.

So everything will still work inside the car even tho I swapped the ecu cause I found a full crate kit with trans, engine harness everything for a full swap cause I got a magnum I want to 6.4 swap it but idk if I have to swap the dash, door panels etc to get it all to work with the new ecu and harness

bro you’re a legend in the making!!! i got a Gt Charger in January of 2022. Unfortunately the hemi’s are coming to an end so i’m looking into swapping the 3.6 to the 392 crate. A lot of people just been telling me it’s not worth and since the v8 is coming to a close prices are gonna gouge like a MF. i’m not paying 60k come November for a R/t. 😂 Do you recommend I start buying the little parts just as you did now? I wanna get ahead as well. Also I’ll buy the belt off of you if that’s a part I may need.

Depending on the condition maybe but with the v6 being a lighter engine I’ll upgrade to better suspension that can handle the torque

Hey man you gave me hope not to stress about getting a V6! My goal is to get an AWD V6 8 speed and do a Durango/Trackhawk transmission swap and with a 5.7 or 6.4 engine swap. What do you think? I don't need to push over 1000 hp or even 800 but I do wanna stick to that grown and go! Thanks fo the inspo and let me know if you think this is ridiculous or too much modding haha

It will say how many miles the original had, you will have to get a tazer to change it manually

I’ve been trying to research for similar project: swapping the 3.6 outta my 2017 ram 1500 with a 6.4L. Only thing is I can’t find really any posts going into detail about it. Every time I ask in a forum they just tell me “sell it and buy one with a hemi” like yea I’ll get the 5.7 but to get the 6.4 I have to tack on another 2,000ish pounds and get a 2500 series…

Not a video for showing exactly what you need to do the swap. Just a lot of talking and pointing.

This is completely false about not being insured for what the value is or getting what the vin says however you want to word it. I had a 2018 R/T it already had rebuilt title from theft recovery no damage. I modded the car heavily even added a whipple SC I was cashed out 47k from insurance when I got into an accident. Doing your due diligence in finding an insurance company they will insure your car and also keeping record and receipts of what you did to it helps your case.
