100% percent agree with you. If the car is paid off then you’re fine you can do whatever you want. Dropping a custom 392 hemi engine from the scat pack is a good thing because you’re saving a lot of money and you don’t need to buy a new one. The looks of the charger SXT don’t matter but what really matter is getting the engine and the stuff just like it came from the scat pack. You can do the body parts for the car but for me I’m not too crazy about it. If you wanna make it basic just throw in a emblem of a scat pack and you are fine. I know someone who actually has an RT and he’s gonna drop a scatpack engine and he doesn’t need to buy a new one. I have a SXT and I’m Kinda am going to do it with a scatpack engine or a hellcat engine. I think the thing that worries me is I don’t want to get like a malfunction or a brake failure. But I think if you take it to someone who knows about the engine or do a custom swap then you’re gonna be fine. I think what I hate about from people is that they think they just throw in a emblem or a vinyl on a basic car because they think they don’t have the money. The engine is what matters and great video.

Same here bro ima be building a 6.4 scar from a 5.7 rt challenger man I’m up for it I didn’t wanna spend 1000 due to first time buyer no co singer plus insurance I’m tapping in let’s get this work

Be careful, because a lot of the cost from the v8 vs the v6 models also incorporate stronger materials for the chassis and gears, etc. Even though effectively increased HP, other components may wear out very fast, or even fail. Some parts may not be able to safely handle the increase in strain and torque

@@lifeoftreysempire2661 I didn't mean the design of the frames as they are pretty much the same design, but more about the material used. I may be wrong, but it only makes sense from an engineering standpoint. The exact ratios of metal mix alloy are hard to find from what dodge officially uses. I've seen gears get absolutely destroyed and bent because it was used in an application that was slightly over it's intended use range. Your build could also be fine, but I wish you the best of luck, and stay safe!

I’m doing a similar thing albeit it’s gonna take a while but I’m wanting to swap in either the 6.4L or the 3.6P twin turbo hurricane into my 17 Ram 1500.. I’m starting by slowly building up everything else around it such as big brakes and exhaust: do you or does anyone of the SRT gauges and such will swap into a ram?

I’m on this same wave. My V6 was $10k fully loaded without a sun roof which is exactly what I wanted.

I got a 2019 chally rt and 2017 5.0 the rt is the perfect daily it’s not bad on gas because of the 4 cyl mode.

What about wire harness from Scat ? Did you need that ? Or same wire harness?

What about the Motor Mounts & Wiring Harness, I've always heard you can't convert a V-6 to a 6.4L ... At least on the Jeep Cherokee Platform anyway.

Might want to consider a rear differential and rear axles. Upgrading to Brembos will require changing the knuckles as well. Going to need exhaust from the manifold back. Possibly fuel pump.
