I told some people where I'd stopped and they couldn't believe I didn't know and that I wasn't robbed.

A 99 OBS Z71 was my first truck I've ever owned!! Have had 5 99 OBSs since then.

Hands down one the best vehicles ive ever owned. Ive had three of them. Personal favorite was the 91 k1500 heavy half, meaning it came with the 2500 frame, had the f44 package, the bigger gas tank, every option you could think of, floor shift t case, but the kicker was it still had the 4.3 v6 and the 4L60 transmission. Was so amazingly fuel efficient and just super reliable. Got hit head on in 2018 cause some lady fell asleep at the wheel. Miss it everyday.

Ways to kill an OBD Truck, bad repairs, rust/ neglect, severe abuse. My neighbors tree fell on my 98 Z71 about 5 years ago. Still looked good until then.

I have a 1995 Silverado with the 305 and other than some minor maintenance like alternator , water pump and a few sensors, it’s all original. Never touched the transmission nothing. 435k miles and I drive it everyday. I want to get to 500k which won’t take long because I drive it out of town for work. Love the thing

Those trucks are super solid... I've got two '94s...one is still my work truck and has almost 300k on it. It leaks fast enough it's like having self changing oil, but it just won't die 😂

Picked up my 98 k1500 with a 305 for $100. Drove it for bout 6 months til hit a farmers cow in middle of nite. Farmer paid me, rebuilt it myself, 7 yrs later its still a great truck. Lil ohio rust but people still stare when i drive by.

I’ve owned my own collision repair shop since 2017, and there is yet to be a year that I make more(100% profit) in my business than I have by, buying, building, selling, and trading 88-98 chevys. Specifically SCSB 5spd trucks. 2wd & 4wd. I can buy a truck nearly identical to the one in this video all day long for $3k~ in the south East

I watch bushcraft and some stealth city camping. What i own would easily fit inside of that coupe or a semi truck. That is way more space than a compact or sub compact. Still would suck though

Kill and OBS by giving a great clean example to a meth'd out construction worker. My 97 had this happen before I got it and now its the most dependable daily after I repaired the meth head damage. 300K+ (who knows as the gauges have been replaced at least 3 times when the steppers crap out). I hunted for this truck (1997 Sierra C2500 2wd with 14bolt 8 lug axle, 4L80E and 5.7). Looks like hammered shit but is my daily despite having other cars to drive and the ability to buy whatever I want.

Is this just a channel of the most unrealistic car stories?😂

The Flats are considered open public land and driving on them is permitted when events are not being held. Just means we have to draag the course more to smooth the ruts.
