i hope the girl recovers soon! I’m glad the songs are getting removed. but for the rui fans who want sega to keep the commission, here’s how to GET OVER IT. See it as an eye for an eye; Revival My Dream was removed from EN and had only kept the commission; Showtime Ruler. While What Sort Of Ending Are You Wishing For? Is being removed for valid reasons, and they are probably only keeping the event. So, it would be even now since we can see Showtime Ruler being the commission for Curtain Call. Yes, this is probably stupid to comment, but it would be annoying to see people mourning over the loss of a SONG made by a P3D0. As a Rui fan, i’m not that sad because if SEGA did not remove the songs, they would probably get cancelled. If i get attacked im going to delete the comment.

I’m not trying to attack you, but I want to understand more about your thought process. What bugs me is that the songs themselves didn’t do anything. They are only problematic because their creator is (pusu is a HORRIBLE person). The songs are just being removed for something they didn’t do. I make art but I understand that I am not my art, and my art is not me. If I do something horrible my creations aren’t responsible for that. If someone else wrote this exact song, would it be better? Why?

I used to love what sort of ending are you wishing for. It leaves this pit inside of me that makes me feel sad almost kind of wish I never got into the song at all because I was really attached to it and it was one of my favorites and now every time I hear even a second of it I feel so sad because I know it’ll never be the same and pusu freaking messed up- on top of that the girlfriend didn’t deserve any of this I can only imagine what she’s going through. The reason I’m so pissed is that I have a hard time expressing/releasing emotions and music is what helps me so to have one of my escape routes removed is heartbreaking. F pusu and I wish a good recovery to his girlfriend.

For the girlfriend being a minor part: in the screenshot everyone showed it says 10代女性 which means a girls in her 10's (10-19) and thats where it came from

Like why would they marry a person that potentially will die before them? Are they after the older party's One Piece after they died? It's morally questionable as well. Why would I debate about it? And sorry to think of a grown ass man with a job being with a school student is somewhat creepy. They are literally not in balance in this relationship and a lot of the time is the older own have more power. as much as it sucks that we are losing these songs, its for the better. i think the songs are nice sounding, but they were written by a sick monster. This whole situation is just.. breaking me. Tuyu had been my favorite band since i found them, and after they released another single and planned another set of lives after the drama with Pusu during Kakumei Zensen I thought everyuthing was going to be okay. I'm glad, at least, that Rei and Miro have stated that they will continue music related activities outside of tuyu, but I just don't know what to do about their music. Its in all my playlists, always stuck in my head. I hate what Pusu's done. I wish i could just erase these songs from my life, but its just not that easy when they've sometimes been my life force for the past 2 or 3 years.

This is literally disgusting not only was the dude probably a pedo he ALSO tried to unalive his “girlfriend” which might be a MINOR. And people are worried about the songs and the whole “separate the art from the artist” thing only work IF that person is unalive because then that “artist” is not getting money or any type of reward for their art. It's probably some kid tho, like that one minor who were making jokes "for coping" ..... Personally I really liked one of these songs but like i don't care, a kid was fckg stabbed.... About your point on "separate the art from the artist" only being valid if the artist is dead, does that mean for another example, people should be encouraged to boycott Harry Potter as long as JK Rowling is still alive because she's a huge bigot against trans people and is still alive to profit from her fans? And in the inverse, people are now fine to like Cthulhu while acknowledging the creator's problems because HP Lovecraft, a racist bigot, has been dead for years? It’s a damn shame. I understand why they’re being deleted and I think it’s the right choice that they are but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little sad. When the glory morning falls was one of my favorite songs in the game and I’m a little bummed it’ll be gone.

hi! i wasn't actively a tuyu fan but i think there's some things i can help clarify regarding the situation regarding Pusu's arrest 1. the victim's specific age was not listed and *any claims about her being 13 or 15 are false*. news sources have only ever mentioned her age range (10's). that being said, the girl would still be regarded as a minor either way regardless of prefectural age of consent laws due to the fact that JPN culture and society views 20 as the age of adulthood (which is why coming-of-age ceremonies in Japan are centered around those who turn 20) this of course doesn't change the nature of what Pusu did, but i do think it is important to point this out 2. current condition of the victim as of now is unknown, ive seen people say definitively that the girl is safe but information regarding her condition has been kept private so far. i do hope the girl is recovering and is given the proper treatment she needs.

I really liked tuyus songs but now i cant ever listen to them the same way again. I wish that the girl in this incident is safe and happy now. All thought i am sad at least ill find new music to enjoy

damn, this was really not the sort of ending we were wishing for. I understand that were grieving really bad over a song right now, donketsu was one of my favorite songs and my favorite rui comm but as much as we hate to see it get deleted we have to acknowledge this and get over it at some point. They're removing it for valid reasons and its the best decision. as for the pusu situation, I hope the victim and her family is doing good. Rei and Miro are awesome for helping out her family aswell.

after this incident ill never see pusu the same again, that was actually messed so fuckin bad

Can I have any answers for this? So I logged onto my project sekai account as normal and finished my challenge show. Then I went to the normal show and played all my songs that I wanted to. As I was scrolling through the Wonderland X Showtime tab, I saw ‘What Kind Of Ending Are You Wishing For?’. I knew that it couldn’t be true because the song was deleted. when the Revival my Dream event got removed, sega kept the song. so by that logic, the event will be kept but the song will be removed. sega will probably just replace the instrumental with default music 🤷‍♀️

I think what the people, or at least I, meant by Rui being the victim is that Rui is affected by real events twice. Personally I think it's both funny and sad; got mad at the Revival My Dream controversy, but I understand the removal of the song. I hope fellow Sekai fans understand that the producer of these songs has literally attempted murder.

The difference between OSU players and prosekai reaction wise is just upsetting. Osu had a big community built on Tuyu yet are accepting the news well. Prosekai fans are complaining about an in game character and wanting to still hear the song. There is a reason why the vocaloid community tries to distance themselves from prosekai. I still remember initially seeing the news. I’m not too sad about the songs being removed from PJSK; although I’m more upset about them being removed from other Sega games (CHUNI and maimai). TUYU was very dear to me, so seeing their band slowly being wiped from existence is still incredibly sad. TUYU wasn’t only Pusu-it was Pusu and Rei and miro. And it’s awful that everyone, fans and band members and all, have to suffer because of Pusu’s actions.

I found Pusu official twitter account and went on the latest tweet It’s amusing to see the difference between the Japanese, Chinese and English people reactions to this incident I can’t read Japanese so I just translated them but according to Japanese people They either makes fun of him like “you became a criminal www” (w (short for 笑) means lol in Japanese) or they feel sad that there won’t be any more songs from Tuyu Chinese people are outraged by this. This somehow reminds me of when singer wilbur soot got into a controversy because he breached the boundaries of his relationship with his now ex girlfriend and everyone including his long time fans since his past streamer days instantly stopped supporting him and his band. Why cant that be done now when a possible underaged girl got stabbed? Why is it that people still defend a CRIMINAL just because one of his works was made for their favorite fictional character? The internet is confusing.

It's a bit of a different example, but I'm not surprised by that fandom behavior when there are people who view certain villains as more "sympathetic" than they really are in canon and defend them or see certain heroes as being more "evil" than they really are and bash on them. The format of social media and the way education system works today just don't lend itself to critical thinking and empathy

hey guys i know this is crazy but i don't think that fictional character kamishiro rui from hit vocaloid rhythm game project sekai colorful stage feat. hatsune miku has feelings on one of his songs getting removed :) i think :)) we should be focusing on the actual victim :))) because she was the one that is affected by it (though it's had a ripple through all of tuyu and more than likely the victim and pusu's families) :)))) and not-and i cannot overstate this-FICTIONAL CHARACTER kamishiro rui project sekai colorful stage feat hatsune miku, who does not have an opinion because he is pixels. hope this helps (i saw someone reply to a comment saying that the focus should be on the victim with "but rui is kind of a victim too" some of y'all need to log off)

in fact i'll do y'all one better (though saying this feels stupid but i'm gonna anyway for everyone who's a Little too into the blorbos in their phone): if rui was real-which he's not btw i feel like i just need to say this again-this is what he would want! he wouldn't want a pedophile that attempted a murder-suicide on their more than likely underaged girlfriend to get royalties through his game! he would think that, ironically, even if it wasn't the ending anyone was wishing for, it was the best outcome due to what's going on! but it's fine bc this doesn't apply and he doesn't need comfort because-say it with me-he is ✨ voice-acted pixels ✨

My opinions on the whole situation: 1: Tuyu’s music is great. The other people who worked on Tuyu are great. It’s terrible to the other people who were part of Tuyu that they had to disband because of Pusu’s actions. It’s okay to still like Tuyu’s music! Just try to listen on sites that won’t give money to Pusu. 2: They removed the songs because Pusu would be getting PAID for it. They can’t do anything about it. They couldn’t shift the credit to the rest of the band, because Pusu was the composer. Pusu did the work that was actually used in the game- the singing was replaced, so the singer isn’t part of it at all. 3: Rui. It’s terrible that he has such bad luck with his events being controversial, and it’s okay to be sad about it and talk about it. It’s not okay to value Rui over someone getting stabbed- but few people actually do. There are people talking about the girl who got stabbed, and it’s also okay to talk about what will happen in rhythm games because of this. Like, songs getting completely removed from a game has a lot of complicated problems that would need to be addressed in one way or another, like compensation for people who FC’d or AP’d the song. 4: Pusu. Pusu has needed help. From what I’ve researched, it’s been clear that he needed some kind of mental help for a while now- but it’s too late for him now because he stabbed his 10-19 y/o girlfriend. It’s honestly sad that nothing could’ve been done before this point. Not to sympathize with Pusu in any way- because let me get this straight, f**k Pusu. This is not the ending any of us were wishing for, that’s for sure. Anyway, thanks for reading this wall of text.

Also, about “separate the art from the artist”, I’m one of the people who fully supports separating the art from the artist if you do it right. Support the art by enjoying it, but don’t support the artist. You can listen to the songs in ways that don’t support Pusu- for example, reuploaded versions on KZread and Spotify. You can find the full audio and MV of the Sekai version of “what kind of ending are you wishing for” reuploaded on Spotify without doing much digging.

I feel like it was so obvious that Pusu was not mentally well. Just look at the themes he covers in his songs. The huge stigma against mental illness in Japan could have very well prevented him from getting the help he needed. Very sad situation, especially knowing it could have been prevented...

​@@erraticcat3887Also Yanno Asaya (Pusu) first got interested in music when he gained the passion to play the guitar, to the point he practised 20 hours a day. It's to the point he decided to drop out of high school at just first grade and choose to live on his own in Osaka as a poor man. I'm not saying that practising excessively, dropping out of school, or living on your own is 100% bad, but I feel like it's foreshadowing of how Asaya/Pusu specifically would turn out in hindsight

For all the horrors pusu brought, I’m still sad the songs are being removed. Here is why. As an artist, I know that I am not my art and my art is not me. If I do something bad, my art is not responsible for my actions. That goes the same for pusu and the songs. Pusu is a HORRIBLE person, he is the pedo and he attempted murder. I do not support him at all. The song didn’t do that though. The songs themselves are not problematic, only their creator is. We can focus on dealing with pusu (put him in jail and he loses all gains for Tuyu’s songs) and supporting the victim (I heard she is recovering now), instead of having two songs that really didn’t do anything, get caught in this crossfire.

The songs got bad reputation from the whole pusu situation, so it's better for them to remove them. It's as if, they support the criminal if they keep the songs. keep in mind people see something differently. Also it's not just psekai that remove tuyu's song, other rhythm games like sdvx, chunithm, even phigros also remove them. So if the other remove the songs, it'll make them stand out more if they're the only one to keep them. So Sega did the right thing to remove the songs, to prevent any conflict from happening and keep their reputation.

​​@@hikaruu_19Also this isn't the first time an entire work is killed off in Japan because an artist did something particularly unforgiveable. This happened to the Act-Age manga few years before, causing the manga to be ended early and the planned theater/anime adaptations to be scrapped forever
