I think people underestimate the longevity of certain stars. Take Bron, KD, Curry, Lillard, Butler, kyrie, harden, butler, PG13, Kawhi, etc.: these guys were all stars around the time this was written and are still mostly top 20 guys. It’s not easy to take over those already at the top!

I know it’s hard to make lists like this but not having Steph or Kd in the top 20 is egregious. Even if it was 5 years in the future.

I was so high on Aaron Gordon this year as well. He'd improved consistently every year and looked like after that year he'd finally take the major jump with his shooting and athleticism coming together, but he's stayed about the same.

Having Jokic at 11 is a great call by them. Based on everything we know about basketball, that SHOULD be his absolute ceiling. But the man has just defied the laws of logic, nature, physics, athleticism, thermodynamics, whatever laws you can think of, to become the best player in the NBA. At least in my opinion. I can see arguments for Giannis too. Maybe Doncic. But Jokic is the truth.

Even last season, us Kings fans were saying that we should trade Harrison Barnes for Ben Simmons for the star power. Apparently the Nets wanted a lot more for Ben than we were willing to give up. Fast forward one year and they're looking to salary dump his contract. Oh how the turns table! Btw, that game you were watching was INSANE. Loved seeing Kyrie vs De-Aaron in the 4th and OT. I don't know if my heart could take a Kings-Mavs 7 game series

Steven adams has been my favorite player years. Nice to see others giving him some recognition. The problem with Steven is he is so selfless on the court. He could definitely have better stats, but he plays for the team, not himself.

But in all honesty the league is so talented right now that you could take any roster in the league and there is at least one player on it who you could argue belongs on this list... The depth of the entire league is so crazy... Literally half the teams think they got a shot at the title and there are no clear cut favorites to win it all.
