Woah I didn't expect you to actually watch it since you were on the fence about it for a while, it was an interesting experiment. Each episode is kinda like a loose adaptation of a single game, but some games get multiple episodes, also at times the story goes very differently than it did in the games and depending on who you ask it's either a good or a bad thing. Also RIP poor Sanae, Opa forgot she existed.

Don't be confused, the story is told in flashback after the events of SA and the opening allude to events in SA but it is still EoSD episode.

Did anyone notice in the intro that marisa was using her "magic missile" shot type but was able to use master spark instead of stardust reverie?

I love how almost all the fights in this fan anime end with Reimu annihilating the enemy with the fantasy seal xD

All characters in this franchise are always relevant.

Every episode in this game covers the games. This one was game 7, the next ones cover game 6 through a few episodes, etc. The series has about 11 episodes thus far. There's a few other shows I'll list for any interest you may express in them: -A Summer Day's Dream: Not entirely sure what's going on with it at this point, but it seems to take a unique mystery perspective on the cast. Currently 3 episodes (with an episode 2.5). -Sealed Esoteric History: A lot of people are recommending this. It's Maribel and Reiko interacting with Gensokyo and its legacy on earth outside the fantasy barrier. Currently 2 episodes I believe? -Explosion of Patchouli: A one-shot episode that follows the misadventures of Flandre as her sister tries to get her to stop misbehaving. It's very silly.

Ah, back in the day I watched Memories of Phantasm two years ago. There are 12 (maybe) episodes on that anime, so look forward to it. KZreadr (memories of phantasm animator) who made that one is Manpukujinja, so be sure to check 'em out.

I want to hear fc screaming in pain for this animé. The plot is so bad and the quality of this animé's illustration so good that this has become pure fanservice. A formidable example would be the skip of the half-awakening of the Saigyou Ayakashi, otherwise known as Resurrection Butterfly. If only they knew how to make the characters properly dodge actual danmaku and not just random attacks thrown at them. And let's put "The Gensokyo The Gods Loved" at a final boss because it's not fuken off topic. 8:59 She is playable during that incident btw 14:38 NO JUST NO

Memories of Phantasm. Yikes. At least the first few episodes are decent.
