Im just doing these stories for fun: incident case 2346: We found this foofage from an Urban exploler in one of his videos he was going in the "Birch forest" what was believed to be hunted by possesed deers this urban exploler firstly heard some strange sounds as he continued exploring he found a dead body and dead animals which was weird and creepy as he continued even weirder sounds were heard then he stumbled some deers which were not normal theyre eyes were glowing and one was standing it scared him alot so he was going to hide in the caves which was probaly an good decision later in the caves he heard some unexplaineble sound he stayed in the caves a little bit he found some resources after he left there was immediatly sone weird sounds and he also saw the same deers he started building a little hut it was becoming night he started panicking like just saying in an very scared voice "theres something not right with the deers alot of weird sounds were heard after this panic attack he had to go out for wood he saw a deer again he was staring into his soul he found another corpse then there was 2 deers staring at him again he then found another 2 corpses he then found some deers later in the morning he chased then until he heard some whispering he started finishing his hut he realised that the deer were watching him he made a farm it was dead silent then he was going to try to find the deer and try to feed them he failed and didnt find any he then came back onmy to find alot of deer right infront of his house they were all standing after some time they ran off into the woods then the urban exploler was attacked by an deer with red eyes and a big smile there the footage ended. His body was found by some hikers who found him torn apart in pieces and this footage... Btw there are probaly some grammar mistakes (i dont speak english that well sometimes)

Funnily enough a lot of the details of this horror mod seem to take inspiration from supposed real life encounters, particularly from Appalachia. If you don’t know, the Appalachian mountains is an ancient mountain range on the east coast of the US (I live a few hours away from there and been there many times) that is around 480 million years old, so older than the supercontinent Pangaea. People esp local Appalachians say that because it’s so old, there’s many things lurking in those hills. One of these cryptids is the Not-Deer. They are described to be many things, but generally they look like deer but upon further inspection you can tell something’s off like it’s not *really* a deer, like they stand on their hind legs and start walking or their legs look broken and bent backwards but they run at full speed. They can even have eyes in the front of their head like a predator, some say they see glowing eyes before they see the whole deer, and the Not-Deer sometimes exclusively eat meat by hunting other animals (even when deers are primarily herbivores). A lot of other common encounters in Appalachia include tons of cryptids and paranormal/spiritual encounters (and no, not skinwalkers or wendigos although shapeshifting or cannabaliatic entities may exist, skinwalkers and wendigos are from different Native American tribes’ folklore that do not live anywhere near Appalachia). Another such enountet I hear from those in Appalachia include the whispering voices, like tons of them exactly how it is in the video. Whoever made this mod must have incredible attention to detail since they included very specific things and it’s eerily accurate to what people have supposedly reported experiencing in real life.

Also I should add, Not-Deer are different from “zombie deer” that puff refers to in the video. The deer zombie disease is called chronic wasting disease, and that among some other kinds of diseases causes deer to act strangely until they die because of miss-folded proteins in their DNA called prions and are highly contagious (which is why overpopulation of deer in North America is such a big problem).

Hey Puff an answer to your question about why deer just stop and stare whenever there are headlights, it's because the deer don't expect to see much light at night so then when the headlights of a car suddenly come into their view they get confused and stop. In their brains they're like "the light means safety. But it's night and there's hardly any light... So am I safe in these lights?" When ever they see headlights and that's why they stare. In short: Deer stare into your headlights because they're dumb and think it's safe to do so.
