Giving up everything to become poor to such fakes is silly, though to give all to the poor to God is good fruit imo. Would love to actually be free as Abraham Moses John the Baptist or Jesus were, they followed God and lived off the land and others not tied to things of this world. If only I had the knowledge to live off the land completely I would, to weak in faith to attempt it and am comforted by the things of this world, like a car a house electricity a phone and so forth all things that keep us enlaved to the world chasing the dollar more than trusting in God, though he does even give us what we need even in the oath of a job...our comforter. Doing one or the other isn't salvation, is simply the path we have been shown to truly be free in this world to be poor and without things of the world setting us free from it not dependant to it. When the mark comes many will have to face this path as to keep the pleasures of the world in one's life they will have to take it. I am for the free path to be better prepared for that day, no morning coffee everyday no going to the store for anything I may need not having income to pay for housing and so on. Take small things out of your life now so if and when the day comes the transition isn't so drastic. Learning to live without the world of man is the idea. Both paths are a means of serving others as we should serve for even Jesus washed the feet of others even though he is the King of Kings. Yet one can have us chasing after our own wants not in the helping of others, where the other path gives us true freedom to preach the gospel anytime all the time anywhere which is to serve others as well giving the best gift the truth of salvation. Is hard to preach when chasing the dollar to pay bills and taxes, we are consumed in our own lives simply to keep our heads above water to keep a roof over our heads and wheels under are feet.

I never got paid to do anything but I still preached I don't know how but I did it I also sang and did a lot of Christian rap plus sang with a lot of local Christian rock bands also but I'm still broke and now my body is totally broke to and there's also the fact that I don't have any family alive now either do to Cancer I'm alone and have nothing not a pot to spit in I'm not doing very well but I know one thing I would rather be in this totally screwed up mess then have never served God I guess the way I didn't is the way everyone should do it right be Left broken and forgotten about in the dark

You’re not giving to them. It’s a covariant with God we keep, it’s called tithes! You are instructed to give your 10% to God and what they do with it, will be judged. We started tithing in the 80s, God blessed us with a car, a house, and more. Chk out what ministries he supports! God said believe in ME! Read the bible!

I watched Kenneth Copeland in the 80’s on tv. He was the real deal for Christ then. Now, the transformation of his face into evil, when it wasn’t like that before, is remarkable.

It was Pastor Justin Peters who said, "it's not good enough to just believe in Jesus. You have to believe in the RIGHT Jesus." This means believing in the right gospel. Just as a side note, I admire John MacArthur and Voddie Baucham so much. God bless them!

What does he have in common with them? He is labeled as one of them and no one shares a proof. I mean, we have enough video footage of the others e.g. But I've never seen him babble like that, or how he takes money out of people's pockets, or other things the others do. The few times I've seen him, I've just seen him preach about the scriptures/gospel.

@brideofchrist8 Jesus said to the rich man sell all and give to the poor. Matthew 19:21-24. Giving it all to the poor is paramount here.

God already owns everything. The cattle on a thousand hills. He lacks for nothing. We give because we show our love for Him and our trust in Him to meet all of our needs. He blesses us abundantly so that we may have to give to those in need, not to hoard it unto ourselves.

I was deceived for a brief time, thank God Almighty, but I really had no money to give those charlatans and I was truly skeptical of them from the beginning. Thank God, he delivered me from their craziness. Look at the way they brag in the faces of their needy congregations. Unbelievable!!!

I am not well off. I don't have a car. I had a lethal drinking problem, that Jesus set me free from. I was homeless and jailed, locked in psych wards, even shot by police in 2016. Anyways, I used to get a ride with a gentleman (whom I consider very Holy) who also picked up people who weren't in a good place and NEEDED Jesus Christ. One day in church, the Senior Pastor was talking about "JOINING the church"; about being a "church member". But as he gazed at us, in the very front, he said "but being a member means 'financial responsibilities', very arrogantly towards us. I haven't been to a service there since. 😕 I have been through a lot, but only a Christian for 5 years. Even so it seems like many life-long Christians have ZERO life experience, and never read their Bibles. Anyways...

As always John Henry a great video. Thank You for sharing and what you do. Maybe just maybe someone watching for the first time or even a second time will shake their head and say what am I doing and back up and ask GOD to help them get on the right path.

Easy way to test them: Decide whatever amount it is that you want to give, and tell them that you're happy to give it... to some charitable cause or organization that the preacher has zero connection to. Then check the reaction... are they still so enthused about how important your giving is, when not a cent of it will go to them?

Giving the truth saves mankind.

You know in all the years of my being a Christian I've "NEVER" had a church or one of any of these prosperity preachers say please let me bless you with this money ..! And I've seen most of them in camp meetings.....so sad ...

If everyone would read the Bible (KJV) for themselves, they would know that these prosperity Gospel preachers are lying to them.

Absolutely. I think the KJV should be the standard people reference too, and NKJV the standard for studying. A lot of the other versions remove certain verses that bring important meaning to the scriptures

So many people who are spiritually blind because they go to these mega churches preached by prosperity gospel celebs, and do not learn to open their own Bible to read, study, and meditate on the word of God, and ask the Holy Spirit for discernment. All these people who are so easily deceived, because many of them are simply looking for an answer, looking for a miracle, looking for healing, etc, and will believe anything that might make them feel excited, pumped up, and so on. This is why more and more venues of these "churches" have added in a complete show, with flashy lights, smoke, fire, all manner of special effects, and music scores designed to effect the emotions and are then told that is the "spirit" telling them to give give give!

Tithing is an Old Testament religious duty that supported the Priestley Levi Tribe. Jesus fulfilled the Law, therefore we are not under Tithing. Instead, we are to give what we wish or how much we can afford to give. Sadly, modern "Christians" bend the Scriptures to suit their own interests.

I dont think you know prosperity Gospel. That is why you are poor. Prosperity is the Promise of God. And yet you dont like it. Dont be a hypocrite. If you cannot be prosperous then what is God mean to you? To be poor? Come on guys...😢😢

I pray for my father, he knew the lord well when he was young and went to church all the time. As he got older we moved and we got into a bad church. From then he assumed all churches are the same and his faith has diminished. These money grabbing churches are taking others with them.

Brother, I love listening to the True Gospel. Thank you for having Justin Peters present it at the end. The world needs to hear this, I need to hear this daily. Thank you for your faithfulness.

I hope so. I personally am unsure about Calvinist doctrine such as is presented in videos such as this, and many other KZread personalities John Henry associates with - but I am searching for the truth on the matter. I feel that the important details, regardless of the TULIP doctrine, are there - but nonetheless the truth is what is most important

@@raymarobedoza3461, I can’t find “accepting Jesus” in the Bible. I’ve read, “No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up on the last day.” John 6:44. Ephesians 2:7, “so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.” Gods shows us His “surpassing riches of His grace.” I don’t know about, not can I find prosperity.

This is everywhere in the world today. It's, oh look at me I grew up going to church and believe in Jesus. Now let me go sin constantly everyday, it's OK cause Jesus forgives me! Paul would be "rolling in his grave" 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Keep spreading the truth brother! 1st, off, if someone feels the need to give then give with clear intentions & right motive. Give to honor GOD whether you’re giving above & beyond or just a penny. DO NOT give because you want to be blessed. DO NOT give cause you want to be healed. DO NOT give because you need a favor from GOD. That a wrong motive & wrong intention. GOD is all knowing! It doesn’t help if you’re in a church that preaches the feel good, tickle me, prosperity gospel! RUN AWAY FROM THAT CHURCH!!! Find a church that will prepare you to be with your maker & spend your eternal life with HIM. Prosperity gospel will only lead you to broader road to hell! WAKE UP!!!!

There is a real element of truth in what they say. Generous people lack nothing. Giving does seem to result in getting. But the motive must be love not self enrichment. These “pastors” should be encouraging giving to the poor, not to themselves.

It is so sad to see this type of deceit coming from within. I often ask myself if these preachers actually believe their lies or if they're deliberately stealing from those who need?

God speaks through Malachi that we give through our true love of God. If we don't love God we okay him that is our true gift. We do not give to gain God's love, we give because He first loved us. If we give to receive God's love that is a works gospel of salvation. We are saved by Grace, that is the true message of Malachi; love God and give as if you really do.

Every time I give to the rich I get more blessings coming my way. I also give to the poor and I believe it is good to do so. Every time I compliment the rich I also get positive results. Every time I celebrate others genuinely I attract blessings so I believe in giving to both the rich and the poor. You attract what you celebrate not what you curse. You want marriage, bless the married and see what God will do for you. There are many ways of achieving your goals and be rest assured, GIVING is one of them.

I remember when another bad hurricane came well after Katrina, and Joel Olsteen had an opportunity to open his church to all these people in need. Everyone knew they would have torn the place up ultimately, but those doors never opened. All the money people give him, he could’ve cleaned it and not get taxed, or I’m sure filled an insurance claim; nonetheless the doors stayed closed. That’s when I realized

I've been struggling with drug addiction, and thought about asking these preachers if they would fund a detox center. However I think they wouldn't even care... sickening.
