That's some fertile soil for the grass to grow that fast✌😁

As a long time regular visitor of Arkabutla, you are very accurate. That grass didn't waste time germinating, thats for sure. Many times over the years ive walked the shore of the lake but now i can almost walk the lake. This is my excersice place and I'm here very often. Since alot of the trails are closed, i walk the horse trails, they do just fine but watch out for some horse surprises 💩😊. We first visited here in the early 80s when i was 13. After about 5 years of working, i decided to make Arkabutla my days off getaway. 35 years practically every day off, im there excersicing and enjoying the peace and quiet.

Mr Mack. That was a beautiful place, and I am glad you shared the video and history . It's funny how mother nature can work so fast to cover the lake bottom with grass after being under water so long. It's just amazing.

@@SouthernBlessedHomestead that’s what my dad was saying. I’m interested to see how they fix it. They will likely build a temporary spillway and dam up then block off where they need to work. It would be a good time for them to install hydroelectric there, but I don’t see that happening.

This was pretty cool to see and very interesting Mack. Our rivers here don't have enough nearly flat froubd to do those horseshoe turns, that pretty cool. You did a great job. The music choice was good too btw. I wonder if what's happening up north impacts what they are doing at all? I'm curious about how the grass all sprang up though. It's beautiful however it came in.
