They Didn't Believe It Was His Song!

Музыка

Discover the story behind the classic song "Who's Lovin' You"! Written by Smokey Robinson at just 18, this soulful track was first recorded by The Miracles in 1960. However, it gained widespread fame when young Michael Jackson performed it with The Jackson 5 in 1969. There's even a humorous story of a fan asking Smokey why he was singing a Michael Jackson song during a concert. Smokey had to explain that he was the original writer! This anecdote highlights the lasting impact of Smokey's songwriting and Michael's incredible rendition. Watch now to learn more about this timeless classic!

To be honest, I‘ve always thought of it as Smokey’s because I’m old enough to remember it when it first came out but like many other songs, sometimes it takes a different voice to make it come alive! The same way Proud Mary did for Tina or When a Man… did for Michael Bolton or I Will Always….for Whitney, etc., all were somebody else’s first before these other artists turned them into stratospheric hits!!

Smokey, babyface,r kelly, and keith sweat are responsible for millions of kids being born and are still being born to their music. Smokey got small change with the Miracles but bought mansions and expensive cars snd furs with Michael's (Jackson 5) rendition. I really miss Michael Jackson ❤❤.

MJ's voice was clear and powerful, even at such a young age. Smokey Robinson is a very talented songwriter and performer. Both very talented guys. The world is a sadder place without Michael Jackson.
