I grew up in Eagle River. And now live in Talkeetna and drive to Anchorage and back every day that is 200 miles a day. I drive a 08 tundra and now have 337,000. Miles on it mostly hard miles. It still handles great.

You should have made the drive through Canada. I’m in North Pole, Alaska and made the drive last year. Amazing!

Nothing as far as your distance, but I took a vehicle to an off road shop that advertised heavily which was a three hour drive from my home. They did a great job and was worth it, at the time. Fast forward many years, and just by circumstance and a suggestion from a smog shop, I found a local tire store that did work on my 4Runner for less money that was just on the other side of hill from my home! Word of mouth is a great advertiser!

Great! I’m in Anchorage too, want to do this on mine. I got 1794 too 😅

Nice truck but man wrong color living in AK hope you take care of the paint my man winters can be brutal on paint and the underbody

I’ve still got my 2012’ Tundra in the same Magnetic grey color…. Been running in Alaska since day 1 and still looks great. I’ve lived in AK for more than 30 years, so well aware of the conditions. 😉
