THEY BUILT THEIR OWN BAMBOO HOUSE! | Off grid couple building a bamboo house in the Philippines
Hello friends! In this new video, I have the honor to feature some of the most inspiring people I've met online, Clea and Jan, who after getting stuck in the Philippines, decided to live off grid and built their own bamboo house with their bare hands using traditional techniques. Traditional bamboo house are called Bahay Kubo in the Philippines. That's where Clea is from.

What an amazing young couple! Very inspiring and always nice to watch people who have hitchhiked like we have... except for the kick bikes. That adds another level of cool. Really love that simple bamboo hut. Do they still go back and use it? (I saw they are in Europe now?)

Haha yeah I was like, why didn't I travel with a kick scooter too ^^ so so cool! For now they are in Norway and Clea is pregnant with their second baby!! But they definitely want to go back to the Philippines :)
I love to hear stories from other hitchhikers and adverturers and how other people adapt differently to other countries. Really enjoyable kind of video btw!

@@TheGipsyJourney It's always good to watch your content. These people as we've seen are an example of learning how to do great things with the least in hands. So, I've been hitchhiking past 4 years in Europe and North America for the most part. I'm taking my time in Brazil now, but I do intend as well to do the Argentina-Alaska hitchhiking route at some point!

Ta vidéo est très inspirante. On peut tellement vivre avec uniquement ce que la vie nous apporte et ne pas se polluer de toutes ces choses commerciales et futiles. Hello. Yes people do live like that all over the world and these are the people that generally live the most in harmony with nature. Unfortunately, we can't deny that the rest of the world has completely disconnected themselves from nature, living in their cement reality. They don't know how to grow and how to build anything. There is nothing wrong in going back to the roots and learn how to live in a different way. Just a question, have you even watched the video? Because all there is here is an inspiring story of a couple that decided to live a different life. No "influencer"fake trend on this channel, don't put everyone in the same category :) there is nothing wrong in using social media to inspire people and show them that a different life is possible. And next time, say hello too, if people were a bit more nice to each other, we would definitely live in a different world 😉
