I am from the Netherlands and such conditions are included in the contract here. This means that the dog goes back to the breeder. This applies to all breeders in Europe and probably also in America. If there is time and space, the dog will remain with the owner until a new owner is found. If that is not possible, the dog is returned to the breeder who will then look for a new owner. You will then lose the purchase costs you paid!

They would go to a shelter for about 10 seconds. These are highly sought after dogs. Someone would be shocked to get one for a processing fee.

@@jakobfolmar6604that’s not true. Well maybe in your area but not nationwide. Cane corsos are a very popular breed as of recent. There are tons in shelters right now, they are being euthanized everyday. If this breeder was not so ethical then the dogs future would be very uncertain.

It's better than leaving her in the mountains or thrown in the garbage, big dogs are not a joke. They're expensive and need lots of everything. You guys just make it look easy. Have a great day! 🌞

Some people just don't understand that you can do so much harm with false love for animals. If you take one of these wonderful giant dogs into your home, you should know what to expect. That's why you should think not only once, not twice, but for a long time if you can take care of such a great companion for many years. Food, vet, insurance can be expensive. I'm glad that they could come back to you. They are in good hands now and are learning what they are supposed to: respect, hierarchy, leadership and proper care. And, of course, lots of petting and loving. ♥

The fact that so many are returned tells a tale of its own…I had pure a German blood Dobermans…they slaughtered my neighbors pets,dogs cats birds …attacking cows…some animals are just what they were designed to be…killers..

​@@badlyniceness2315I have to disagree with you because 99% of the time it's the owners fault for either no training no socialization no exercise and did absolutely no research on the breed they were getting now with that being said there's that 1% that something is off with the dog's head whether it be a chemical imbalance or something like that and have everything done correctly and the dog will still turn and attack even their owners but most of the time it's the owners fault.

I took on a problem child after he was 10 months old and 90 lbs. Single mother with two little girls in a small apartment with no yard figured he was too much for her. He turns two in a few days and he's a great addition to the house along with our Rottweiler/American bulldog mix. We can leave frozen meat out to thaw on the back porch and neither of them bother it. You really have to put the time in with them. He's stubborn and a talker. He tries to argue with me. LOL.

Sweetie is sooo gorgeous. I am so happy that the previous owners brought Sweetie back instead of putting out on the streets or taken her to an animal shelter. I really a truly appreciate your videos and stories regarding the Homestead and your Veterinarian studies. I love animals but I do not have the patience to become a Veterinarian. I am the person that will bring my fur-baby to be seen by the veterinarian. Also, I have a weak stomach. WI-FI was eating food with the chickens. Those rabbits are multiplying fast. That’s a Blessing that you and Greg nephew is helping around the Homestead. I am ready for the next story regarding the other fur baby that was returned to you. Thank you for sharing the video.

I love your duck situation. Very nice. I am the proud owner of a Great Pyrenees/Bluetick Coonhound (Otis), and a Boerboel (Olive) They are a great team when it comes to guarding our property and our flock of chickens. They definitely understand the assignment, but instead of being the silent assassin that she’s meant to be, Olive has been taught by her brother how to bay like a hound and she is absolutely hilarious to us…but terrifying to anyone who doesn’t know her. I can see why- combined, they are 250 pounds of teeth and muscle and they mean business.

My God! People do not understand that these animals have feelings too. I have 2 amazing Cane Corso's, Lucia and Enzo. Great, loving breed that needs lots of socializing and training and at the end of the day, you will have an amazingly loyal, protective family member! I will reach out once they get a bit older as 2 and 3 are a bit young to disrupt the pack.

Wow your production is really good. I like the innovation to your channel. Felt like an animal planet series. Don’t let it defer you. Great dogs. It’s part of the dog industry. She will find her perfect home in due time. In the meantime she is back with the Titans. Some people don’t fit certain dogs.

I think more of these types of videos should be posted. I ❤ that you are serious about taking your puppies back, if necessary. Buyers do need to do their research but shouldn’t feel ashamed to return the dog if they change their mind. This at least gives the puppy the best chance to find a great home and less risk of becoming traumatized by abandonment or not being cared for. 🙏🏿

People shouldn't be buying dog's. They should be saving them from shelters who kill them after so long. Just because someone likes to make money making more. And yeas you can get a pure breed at a shelter.

@@shandelebroyles1099 great point but why are so many dogs in shelters in the first place - irresponsible and backyard breeders who go unchecked and pump out puppies and don’t care about their final destination and certainly aren’t going to take the puppy back if the person decides it’s not a good fit. Sure people buying puppies is also part of the problem. In addition, getting a puppy from a shelter does not guarantee it will be a good fit. If a dog is not the right dog places in your home, it doesn’t matter where you get them from. So IMO that does not solve this issue.

Justin was my Breeder. I knew I loved y’all. Been watching for a few years while living overseas. I do need a black girl for my 2 year old fawn in the near future. Love the growth!

I enjoyed your video very much. It was so nice to see responsible breeders, I have always adopted second hand dogs because that is where my heart lead me. If there were more responsible breeders there would be less shelter animals. You vet your buyers and are willing to take a pup back. SO THANK YOU!

It's always a good thing when someone returns a dog. Imagine the alternatives. I'm glad they didn't feel ashamed to return the dog! Most people worry about others being judgemental.

A black Corso is my dream dog . I live in Scotland and id never heard of the breed and this beautiful black dog came upto me and she had the softest brown eyes and a muzzle like velvet and i was a goner. I have a small rescue terrier and id just got her and Trixie is the only dog she'll tolerate and play with which says alot about a year old puppy. Im glad she was returned to you and not dumped. You have to do your research on a breed before getting one to make sure they will fit with your lifestyle. Im waiting until my circumstances are rught before getting my corso and im prepared to put in the work. Theyre wonderful dogs.

I am new here. Been following you for only a few months since I am interested in owning this breed at some point. I absolutely love the homestead. I have been preaching this type of living for our people instead of complaining about what the government doesn't do for us we got to go out and do for ourselves. This is exactly what I'm talking about I wish I had the patience and the skills to form my own homestead. Taking your dog back is what I would expect in the comtract of a reputable breeder. Especially if things go wrong or just simply don't work out. So that says a lot about your program. Good luck with your studies. When the time is rite I will definitely be reaching out to TTK.

Sweetie looks like a good dog. She keeps checking in with you even through the whole process of meeting new dogs. I can see where some people couldn't handle her though. She needs a ton of attention, right now, and also probably needs a job. She looks intelligent and willing to please.

Those dogs are so beautiful. I still regret not being able to take a cane corso pup a friend offered to give me. My wife was afraid she would be too big to handle. She's actually much easier to handle then my little pittbull at 65 pounds. I still get to see her and she turned into a very beautiful well mannered Cane Corso.

Once again I am amazed ay how your livestock be living better than me on a daily basis, lol. The duck area with its hand crafted pond is essentially "behind the gates" luxury condo living--poultry style! Simply gorgeous! Btw, my vote for the name of the future companion of Schnitzel is Spätzle, a popular side dish served with Wiener Schnitzel. That would be so cute! Always love checking back in with you. As usual, your ever evolving homestead, ongoing endeavors, family involvement, and ever expanding goals are nothing short of aspirational.

These dogs are really not for everyone. People really need to do research and put in the work they need. Glad they can come back to you guys.

Every great breeder has a clause in their contact..bc they stand by their breeding ethics BTW mama Mia is as tall as Audie...I guess she takes after her dad Faruq

This breed is definitely needy. But worth it. I was blessed with mine in Jan. She is loads of fun.
