They Asked Me To Play Bass? (So I improvised)

Музыка

The Mid South is one of the most unique festivals I’ve ever been a part of. Part Gravel Bike Race and part Music festival, I joined forces with @jhspedals to improvise an hour set at this festival, playing bass. It was a blast. Thanks to @themidsouth for having us, I can’t wait for next year.

When you are jamming how do you know what chord is next? I understand scales and the chords that are derived from a scale but how do you guys know what chord is next? Chorus, Bridge, etc? Do you just use a standard sequence like I-IV-V through the process or is there more to it. Would love a video on this - how to jam!
