In our area, the biggest extinction has been the small, independent doctor. Every single doctor’s office is now part of a major hospital system. A sick population is a huge money maker for big pharma. It’s so obvious.

That was my dream, to be a small town doctor. I had to take another path,and became a nursevin a rural community nursing home. I work wirh some amazing small town doctors. The new hospital group is completely destroying our community.

It's kinda funny. I was on vacation in a different country one time, and one of the people I was traveling with cut their foot. Someone broke a glass on the beach. Great. I was the only one out of about 10 of us that brought a full first aid kit. Bandages, gauze, advil, ibprofin, alcohol things, triple antibiotic, benedril, gloves. You name it, I had it. I think I even had finger splints. The foot was fine. healed up no problem. I coudlnt' believe I was the only one that packed a first aid kit. On that same trip, we weren't in the US. After about 2 days, I asked - Does anyone's stomach hurt? We all have bad bad bad stomach issues. Everyone - No, I feel great. No stomach issues after 48 hours. I was eating cheese and everything, and I was eating a LOT of cheese sauce. I shoulda been sick. I was not ... hmmm . .very interesting.

Yes. They did that in Michigan to a farmer. I'm so sick of this. I grew up n have lived in MI 61 years n loved it here. They are ruining a beautiful state.

They are coming for us all. We can make our own systems but eventually what we do will be considered a felony and illegal. It will only stop when we say enough together

Evening Travis. Am waiting for homemade cheesecake to chill up a bit before we eat it. Made from chevre...goat cheese, homemade. Though goat cheese is like feta, though a little more lumpy and has a more robust, assertive flavor, it creams out great at room temp by adding a little more cream and whipping it. We need to be providing our own food, stay away from the chemicals they keep pumping into our bodies. Just a thought...bottle water companies purify the water before it is bottled and add back in minerals for the taste of water...I wouldn't put it past them to start messing with the bottled water soon. 😠

I live in rural southern Illinois. As a kid (I'm now in my 50s), our local fire department was a volunteer one. We referred to them (lovingly) as "foundation savers" because it was almost impossible for a rapid response to all the areas they served and the foundation was all that could be saved by the time they could get there and help. My father helped a couple of times with guess fires neighbors had where loss would have been moreso had he and other men nearby not being prepared.

I’m a former paramedic. I now have a few years under my belt with healing with herbs and homeopathy. I recommend everyone to learn the basics of first aid and then get comfortable with assessing and treating for longer term illnesses. There’s shockingly few people who know how to react in any emergency, and medical ones seem to either freeze people in their spot or make terrible decisions.

Surely in my county there has to be somewhere who does basic medical training. Didnt think of it until this video. I love Zack he puts amazing content up.

We have a volunteer fire department where we are. Most of the time not enough people show up to roll trucks. We've had 3 homes in the last 4 years burn down within a couple miles from us. I tried to guide the firetrucks in on one of the homes through 911 dispatch. The trucks went up and down roads all around but never turned on the one they needed to. 911 argued with me and said they know where they're going. But they didn't. I sat out on the main road and 30 minutes later they finally made. They do not train the ambulance or firefighters to know the rural roads here. Something to think about if you move to a rural area.

Train to be an Army of one. Having all the resources required to perform any mission with success. You are performing what the rest of us need to ve doing. Noone is going to save us but us. Community is critical to success.

Some community colleges offer EMT course as long as you have a simple BLS certification . Check your local Community colleges. Also, an American Heart Association certification for the BLS is preferred. Retired MA/EMT❤.

We had to make a choice - buy property within distance of a level one trauma center or buy property where you understand that it make take you two or more hours to reach the best hospital available. We have known both. BUT it does make a difference at times. As far as the food goes - 2/3 of our meals today were grown. by us. This doesn't help during an accident, but for everything else - we try to be prepared.

Yeah, that’s what I was told 30 years ago and so I gave up milk. Now, 30 years later, my teeth are bad, my fingernails are paper thin, my bones are weak and I have a calcium deficiency. Last year I started drinking RAW milk, not processed milk, and my health has improved markably. Everything is better. I might actually get to keep my teeth. 😁 Milk makes a body strong… raw, not processed. The processed stuff is garbage like all processed foods. Btw… the Promised Land in the Old Testament was referred to as the Land of Milk and Honey. The use of milk for adult human consumption is in the Bible. But it was raw milk. Since I’m a believer, this means something to me but I understand how it could be meaningless to someone else. Just wanted to toss it into the conversation. 😁Wish I’d understood this 30 years ago. 😊 That said, I’m not drinking any bug milk. 🤣🤣

The unintentional lose of this memorabilia was an accident but lessons the severity of my careless actions, I should have taken better precautions to safeguard such an irreplaceable part of whitewashed history. Now this important tangible piece of American history will forever be lost in the annuals of time simply due to my negligence.
