    I'm pretty sure that if you bring bird seed, you can get her/him to eat from your hands. You are a child of nature, that's why animals are drawn to you ❤️ Bring a small bowl, put some seeds in it and put beside you. After a while you hold the bowl in your hand. Don't be scared of it, it wants you no harm. ❤️❤️❤️ It might be someone you lost 💙

    Hello Emma, you are the most authentic and funniest person to watch on the entire internet! I am German and gardening in Co. Cork, Ireland for the past three yesrs. Still waiting to grow a cauliflower like yours..😊

  • @andyfarmer759
    @andyfarmer75911 ай бұрын

    Your Broccolli and cauliflower were both ready when you showed them last week. The broccolli you picked had blown, the one you left today was ready. Trick is , when they look good they are ready and will not get bigger. The slugs no they are ripe because they can smell them, so pick them as soon as they look good.

    Emma you crack me up!! The spider wand thing nearly finished me off! I used to be a postie years back and I was forever having this problem as the first person to approach a door usually via a narrow garden path covered in webs. I too developed a ‘spider dance’ to walk through gates etc… not to mention the crazy dance when you think there’s one on me…. I defo got some odd looks lmao

    Take the "orange" ones off the vine and the rest will ripen quicker. Sun plays no part in the ripening, it is down to ethylene gas.

    Cotton string (could be the one for crafting) is very durable. I usually tie a small rock at the end and drop it in the hole, then follow with the tomato seedling. Works every time, so I recommend it :)

    One of those garden spiders just bit my daughter on the neck! She was reading and it must have climbed up the chair she was sitting on and she shouted I've just been bitten. She swatted it away and the spider fell on her tee shirt. I didn't think garden spiders bit! I love the robin, he's very cute. I feel the need to have a break from my plot, I hope it doesn't last long because I have lots of brassicas to put in! x

    Never heard of a Robin hurting anybody, they are too fragile. Gets some bird seed put in an outstretched hand like you did with the worm, or put it in a bowl or a flat surface and your Robin will help itself . Your top soil is too dry for worms , would probably find more worms in your compost heap.
