I was on the train the other day, and there was a kid who wouldnt stop crying no matter how hard his mother tried to stop him. It kind of makes sense in a weird way to me like, what if they lived in an area with no strong, fine fibred plants to make small bowstrings, but they were able to make thicker cords by winding thicker fibres together.

I have no proof for it, but Double Crossbow feels better in DE than it did in HD. That's for both Ballista Elephants and Scorpions. I've heard the second projectile's 'behaviour' was improved, but can't confirm.

The problem with AoE2 are the unclear descriptions. When the game is telling you "with this tech scorpions will shoot two projectiles" you won't know what does it mean. You think: cool, two identical projectiles then. So innocent and naive... the second one may deal half or double the damage (or flat 1 or 2), hit multiple targets or hit max 2 targets, deal completely different dmg vs towers or town centers than the first projectile... you will never know. This is the worst thing in aoe2.

I have played around with the ballista elephant a bit. Similar to Scorpions the projectile flew further without dealing any damage in HD. and sometimes the projectile didn't pierce and just hit the ground which was a major problem when focussing melee units.

Afaik the damage on the second bolt was increased but it also fixed a bug where in HD the second bolt sometimes doesn't do damage

would be interesting to have a civ whose vils attack with hunting bows or get a tech that allows them

All the gunpowder units have strange animation, if you micro right after the shot, most won't hit. You have to wait like half a second with moving after shot. That was my experience even with 100% Accuracy organ guns.

This was a good video! Super enjoyable. Playlist wise I think 10 is plenty for a playlist, particularly knowing there will be more in the future. As more Pro’s send you videos that are them trying then they can slowly get their own versions of it and it also encourages them to send you videos while DE gets spectating and player profiles sorted out. If the playlists end up too in too big a lump then I think they’ll be hard to sit and watch in a row because they’ll be disjointed. That’s just my two cents though. Happy holidays to you and your family!

We are all humans, forgetting stuffs is normal. if you been putting notes before and while you cast that is a whole load of extras to do for one person. what you did right now is good enough man. It's cool dude. After realizing what adulthood is, it becomes ever so difficult to grab back that holiday spirit that you once had when you were a kid. I feel like new conq's peojectiles are slower, or gunpowder units' in general, i think thats's why they feel different, which results in poorer accuracy and less reliability on micro. Old conqs definitely were deadlier

Yea. Been there before Also when I click them to chop trees they can sometimes bump into one another and 2 vills just stop there but it doesnt show idle sign. They both carries 10 wood and almost like they cant see the drop off resource point or they just having a wood lifting competition all of a sudden but we cant see.

I mean, I saw Viper winning a Khmer war with hussars and ballistas elephants against a compo of halberdiers and monks, I think he know how to micro his elephants XD

The other day I watch this game I thought Lierieyy having rough day. But now that I seen Biper use khmer against him who use a meso civ and won again, I think that Biper is secretly training to buff and flex his skills with nothing but underrated civ. Vietnamese next please. But seriously, Khmer can fast castle and probably fast imp with that eco boom its so scary its not so meme-ish anymore. Viper is just so good at this

Worth noting: Ballista E. are now affected with the cavalry armor upgrades, as before they were only counted as siege weapons. So now with the new patch for DE they are extra chunky elephants.

They gov cavalry armor in HD too, but weren't good. The trouble really is that Khmer are geared towards late-game super siege pushes, but 1v1s are usually basically over in castle age.

They already got the armour upgrades in HD. In DE due to a bug at launch, they wouldn't get the pierce armour from cavalry armour upgrades from a default start. Post Imperial start would mean they would be missing melee armour upgrades instead. This bug got fixed.

Make a combined playlist for all the players, call it "Pro Player Gambits".

Ballista elephant damage is anemic good god.

Watching Viper play Khmer is so much fun. I wish they were a better civ, but if you let them set up they are damn hard to stop.

Hey T90 and community if the Khmer were to receive more buffs what would like to see get buffed for me maybe for their infinity line maybe give them the last armour upgrade to help the Khmer deal with strong palidan civs such as the franks as without much other options available to the Khmer they are still pritty weak dealing against strong cavalry civs especially against strong hussar raids in 1 VS 1 match ups but that could be me what are your througts on the Khmer do you think they still need buffing to give them more options in 1VS1 games

@t90official has something changed maybe im wrong but from what im aware that tech doesn't make them twice as deadly!

I played spanish a lot in my recent games and I have to say that the conquistadors feel really weird to play. Even with proper micro they seem to miss most of their shots and their mediocre range feels even worse.

Why not convert the elephants with monks? I kind of get it with balista. But even with tons of meele elephents you don't see pros trying to stop them with monks

Why not both? Playlists for each player and playlist for all pro strats. It's not like twitch emotes where you can only have a limited number.

You probably know this by now with this being from 2019, but Khmer is pronounced Kh-May, not Kh-Mer. The last syllable is more like the month of May than it is the beginning of mermaid.
