Mutiversus moving like Smash 4 knockback. I also dont like how it feels like there is no gravity, when they jump they just hang there then you hold down to initiate the gravity, its making the gameplay not look smooth compared to other games like Smash, brawlhalla, & rivals

I think for the Valorant clip he probably took it as passive aggressive specifically with what their friend said afterwards saying “I’ve played the character enough” when she initially said “she knows”. The guys definitely blew it WAYYYY out out of proportion, and also the score count at the top of the screen shows that they were actually losing by about 2-3 rounds so he was most likely just salty and just used it as an excuse to let out his frustration. Still stupid though if you ask me

I have no opinions on anything besides Multiversus. It does look slow AF compared to the beta and I hope to god they speed it up before the final release. BUT, to be fair, everything they changed was because of the complaints people had. While most competitive players (and some casuals) didn't mind the speed, a good amount of people said it was easy to lose their character in the chaos, and this is likely one of the reasons that led them to slowing the game down and increasing character sizes. I have a feeling they also slowed the game down for spectators too.. I'm not going to lie, when I was watching high level tournament matches, sometimes it was hard to keep track of things that were going on, especially when everyone is zipping around the screen, its a bit chaotic sometimes, but should they sacrifice game feel for spectators though? I personally don't think so. I think they made a bad call if that's the case. But, like I mentioned, I hope the speed it up to at least 1.15 or 1.2 before launch. If they don't its not a big deal, I'm sure I'll still play and enjoy the game, but I'm just not sure if the game will survive if they don't listen to feedback.

I agree with the issue of that the balancing felt like it was based on bad players not being able to adapt. Some characters would get nerfed in LESS THAN a week because of twitter. Also I feel like the characters are too big.

At the Valorant clip... that's just people playing Valorant. That ain't nothing new. 😂😂

The Multiversus footage is most likely slowed down. Many Fighting games slow gameplay down in their trailers to better showcase their animations or making the footage more readible for watchers I believe. Maximillian Dood talked about this a few times.

That valorant clip is really psychologically interesting. She said something defensive and/or snarky depending on interpretation, they throw out boy banter poking and prodding, and then she gets actually angry, and that turns into a full thing. And then on either side, the "pro boy-bantering" watchers have their biases confirmed through the clip because "she knows" was a sign of things to come, while "pro defensive-girl" watchers have their biases confirmed through the clip because partially of in-group bias usually, and partially because they take the statement to be innocuous. I think they really just said the perfectly wrong things to each other, it happens sometimes.

If you've ever seen a woman's DMs in a game then you know, but you get shit every day if you use comms, so some women choose not to use comms. The fact a dude would be upset so quickly, when you know they aren't really dealing with that type of "othering" on a daily basis, just shows the fragility. It's possible the lady miscalled the shot on how shitty he was being (maybe not if they made a video on it tbh lmao), but there's plenty of overt behavior happening every day so maybe the lines are blurry if someone just kinda hates you for who you are, or they're "just doing comms bro" Point blank we just all need to treat each other with respect.
