Ten years ago, everyone would have said to put them down, they would have told you it’s cruel to let them live like this. Dodo, your videos have saved countless little lives because you have consistently highlighted furparents caring for and loving their special needs fur babies. You provided proof that they CAN live their very best lives, and NOT putting them down wasn’t cruel, but loving. ❤️ Through your videos of other special needs furparents, we learned that we can easily accommodate! We watched and laughed and were inspired by special needs furbabies having a wonderful, mischievous, sassy, and amazing lives! (Like all well-cared for animals have! ❤️) You PROVED their addition to a family provides a richness to our daily lives that is unrivaled. Thank you to Dodo and special needs furparents like these for all that you do! ❤️

We had a mascot, Tippy, at the no-kill private cat shelter in our town who had the same condition as these two. Tippy was the greeter at the shelter and everyone loved the little guy so much. He just passed away a few weeks ago at the age of 18. He thought life was wonderful in spite of his condition.

@@beholdenages ~ I had a one eyed cat named One Eye. Yep, it's all about our sense of humor! There was never a more loved cat in the world.

I like how people are amazed by cats when they finally get adopted. They're like, This is awesome man.

Their determination to get on the couch despite not being good jumpers is precious

Squiggles and Daisy aren't even aware that they are special needs kitties. As far as they're concerned life is awesome and all they want is some cuddles and to have fun! God bless you for taking them into your home and giving them the best life!

Many years ago, I adopted a kitten I named Tabitha (aka “Tabby” or “Triceratops”) that I’m certain also had Cerebellar Hypoplasia like these two beautiful kitties in the video. Even all these years later, it’s comforting to know what her medical condition was. None of the vets that treated her over the 7 1/2 years I had her was able to tell me what her medical condition was. All they said was that she should be put down. When they said that, I would change vets. She was a loving, normal cat in every way, & I’m so glad I never listened to their advice! I miss her to this day.

I had a dog who suddenly became paralyzed. The vet couldn’t figure it out and said to put her to sleep. She was 2 at the time. We took our dog home and I started massaging her spine everyday and move her legs. I was doing physical therapy and massage therapy without knowing what I was doing. I started to see an improvement, After 3 months she was walking again and back to normal like nothing ever happened. Needless to say we never went back to that vet again. . She lived to be 15 years old.

We had taken Shadow, our GSD, to the vet to be put to sleep after what we thought was a stroke, turns out she had doggy vertigo from an inner ear injury and we would never have known if that one vet there wasn’t like “okay but hear me out…” when she noticed some abnormal eye movements while prepping to euthanize her.

I cannot deal with how cute and adorable these two are….. I would just sit and watch and play with them all day. How precious they are disability or not. They are just so seeet and unique and I’m so glad they have each other and amazing parents to nurture them 💜💜💜

@@Aerational I also find it's sad because animals with genetic disorders are purposely bred to be human toy since people find it's cute and funny. Also they are perfect idols to be internet animal figure with their own social media pages and channels to make a lot of money out of it. I'm not telling the situation here is the one I told but what I told is also known fact. I appreciate whoever take care of animals in need of help and special care but I hate when I see people advertise those animals, dressing them up and make money machines. Some of them got caught while abusing their animals to create "content" but know there are ones didn't caught yet and still abusing their animals to get those views and millions are watching it.

@@Haplo-san CH in cats is simply cerebral palsy for cats. They it has no genetic cause, it can’t be caused by an outside actor, and the only confirmed cause is a virus that damages the cerebellum.

They protect him so much that he gets to eat first all he wants and they just sit back and wait till i stop him ( he gains to much weight ) but he hunts and plays and my gang are extra carefull of him and very protective when they go out 1 always sits and watches generally his little bro who is the local dom tom but his sisters are never far away

“Two wobbly little ladies” is what my wife and I call ourselves! 😂

from what i understand and have heard this disorder doesnt hurt them..they arent in any real pain or anything from it....and basicly they dont really know any different so they dont care about it. And frankly i love it..i think they are adorible. I hate to actually say I want a wobbly cat..cause it seems like im asking for a cat to be hurt or harmed...but also I understand they get dumped alot..and even put down alot. So ppl dont seem to want them...so maybe if others that may be like I am...if we adopt them all..then we can save em. Like this couple. Great ppl..those cats chose good humans to bless with their love.

I can't believe they actually named this condition "wobbly cat syndrome". That is hilarious.

Its the "common folks" name for it. Once you've seen it its hard to forget and explains what it is a lot better then "cerebellar hyperplasia." Which could be anything to someone like me.

@@philmorton4590 "swimmers" is when the joints of the limbs don't hold them up, so all the legs splay out. If caught early on, it can be fixed. "Wobblers" (neither it nor swimmers is restricted to cats, btw) is a permanent disability, but some do make enough of an improvement that they can end up basically walking like they're drunk, only falling over occasionally (certainly not as much as these poor guys!) That's probably as much luck as anything else as to whether it can be stabilized. A lot of these genetic conditions are due to overbreeding and in-breeding. Knowing that, when I see animals with such problems (and sadly, many more), much as I still fall in love with each animal, I get furious with whoever it was who brought that condition into the bloodline. 🤬

These two cats are hands down the funniest pair I've ever seen. Like they don't give two shits that they have absolutely no equilibrium. That's what makes them amazing. They just go and search out whatever they want and let nothing stop them. I love these two cats not to mention they're also gorgeous looking.

Yup - A few years ago when I got an ulcer and it was completely wrecking me, I was bundled up on our recliner and was the living embodiment of "miserable" for hours. At one point my cat Keiko had hopped up onto the back of the chair - a very unusual thing for her - and laid down, butting her head against mine. It was like she knew I was unwell and wanted to try to help any way she could. I'm so glad I got a picture of it without bothering her, it's still one of my most cherished pieces of memory of her. People who say cats don't care just never met a cat that was around their human they cared about.

Yes. Whenever my wife has had a particularly bad day, our two cats will cuddle up next to her. Typically, Rudy will only lie on top of me, and Rosa is a tsundere cat who wants to lie down near you but not close enough for you to per her. Both cats will snuggle with their mom when she has a bad day, though.

yeah. My previous cat really hated my bed for some reason. But this one time when i was going through a really hard time after a break up. she voluntarily got into my bed and snuggled up next to me. It really helped to get through the days

I had coronavirus last year and was pretty ill for a few days. Felt so miserable that I actually cried. Tomcat looks at me and promptly left the room and returned 5 minutes later with a live bird that he released into the room before looking very proud of himself. I have no doubt that the bird was a thoughtful (but misguided gift) to cheer me up. The bird was fine btw and left eventually. Edit..sorry I know that slightly undercuts you calling them gentle creatures, but I still appreciate the thought

The snuggles go both ways. When my Beau Geste is startled by someone or something, he heads for me no matter what I'm doing. He gets his pets, strokes and massages. Then, his world is good again. 😻

God bless you for proving EVERY cat deserves their chance.

The fact that their condition does not stop them living life to the fullest and being chaotic nutters is gorgeous and that they are loved for their uniqueness has put a huge smile on my face that will stay there for the rest of the day 😁😁. I also love the fact that the owners took the guinea pigs into consideration first whereas often, unfortunately, they are put to the side for the new pet as if they don't count. They are lucky to have you but I also know that you are definitely blessed for having them 💕💕💕

If it's any consolation, the cats likely dont know anything is wrong with them and arent in any pain!

Ataxie-Katzen sind einfach irgendwie nur niedlich...toll, wie überall weiche Unterlagen auf dem Boden sind, so dass sie nicht mit dem Kopf zu hart auf dem Boden aufschlagen aus der Höhe, wenn sie wobbly umfallen!

SQUIGGLES AND daisy are BOTH SO BEAUTUFUL!!! I'm glad that they were adopted together. I don't think they know something is not right with them at all.

Wobbly or not, what's important is that these kitties are given the best of care and attention, just like any other kitties our there. 💖💖

I always used to take exception to the phrase 'scaredy cat'. These two fearless lionesses prove how courageous cats truly are. Bless their giant loving hearts

Honestly, I just see two ridiculously adorable and funny cats which at the end of the day is what they all are. The wobbling just makes them more entertaining!

This warms my heart. It’s one thing to take care of a special needs animal, it’s another to see them thrive, and these two wobbly little ladies are definitely thriving! I don’t even think they realize they’re different from any other cats! God bless these two sweet goofballs!

My own cat has a very bad perception of space and is visually impaired, she constantly rans into things (doors, furniture, stuff you've-just-put-on-the-ground-for-one-second...) but your cats are on another level, for sure! 😻

My husband's aunt had a cat with this, I'd never seen it before and was assured "Palsy Kitty" was in no pain. They'd had her since she was a baby, she was born that way, and it was fascinating to see her somersault her way across the room, hit a wall then stand up and wobble to her next spot to start the somersaulting again.

I love how it doesn't effect at all their enthusiasm in the slightest, so sweet though, I wonder what goes on in their little heads regarding their physical abilities. Like when jumping and not getting there. It's like in their head they can but physically it fails a lot, yet same enthusiasm over and over. And maybe having two of them like this is making them feel and look normal in a funny way.
