I have a friend who hit the ball and the same thing happened to the blocker. His nose was bleeding and he had tissues in his nose during the second set

The most embarrasing thing that ever happened to me was in a high school match and when I received a serve instead of passing it, it hit my face 😭😭

Regarding disrespectful plays.... at my practice today my setter yelled for help (as we do when we (the setter) won't reach the second ball in time) whilst the other team just fcked up a receive. Worst part was, we were leading by like 15 points. So whilst it was just a weird moment of confusion, it seemed like the hardest dis possible. Like, "somebody help them!" lmao

My BIGGEST LOWLIGHT was when I was playing front row and the opponents couldn’t get it over the net, I thought they hit it over 3 times so I caught the ball. And IN FACT THEY DIDNT HIT MORE THAN 3 TIMES. But I did get over it and did better for the rest of the game and we did win.

I once missed the ball completely when going for a spike from 4 😭. My coach asked me if I had been drinking the previous night lol

6:10 my friend just did this in a game😂. We were winning 24-18 and he bounced it off a guy's face and it went all the way to the ceiling

my funny moment is that i accidentally hit the net, i mean when i accidentally hit the net when i was about to set is hit the net, but the funny part is the ref did not see so i just continued playing😂😂

This one time I was in middle back after the other team got the ball and libero was supposed to go in for me but they weren’t paying attention, so I was looking over at my coach and wasn’t paying attention to the serve which ended up hitting my face 😭🤭

My lowlight just happened this weekend- the sister had to pass the ball and it was abt to short. So I hit the floor to pass it over the net. The lowlight was I slid onto the opponent’s side. Parent were laughing at me and my teammates too💀

I was playing back row and I passed the ball so high it touched the ceiling 😅

I just finished day 1 for a national qualifier in vegas and i face planted into the chairs today and now i have a bump on my face and a slight headache atleast i got the ball up🤠

One time i was subbing out for someone at a home game.. i tripped over one of my teammate’s legs, fell out of my shoe and then faceplanted right before subbing out in front of everyone at my school and their parents 😭

Kind of embarrassing but kind not at the same time, we didn’t have enough people at the school open gym to do varsity and jv courts for practice. Needless to say I (a sophomore who hadn’t played volleyball for more than a few months) ended up on the receiving end of a senior varsity player’s nasty jump top. The ball hit my face so hard it bounced a solid 50ft in the air and we played it for the point.

My worst low light playing volleyball was one time I was running for the ball and my shoe just flew off causing me to fall on my face😭😭😭

i had a tournament 2 days ago and i had like 5 one arm defenses in one game. i live in germany and am 12

Playing middle and the other teams blocker had his arms too far apart. I bounced it off the top of his head and the ball hit the ceiling. I feel bad for that, but things like this happen to me all the time. I just shrug them off and continue. My biggest lowlight was not being a good middle, but told to play it anyway. I was really late on the block, so I thought "why not receive it from 2m off the net." Fun tourney, but the team we were playing had an ex pro who fired one directly on the bridge of my nose. Ball went up, but we lost the point because my team was worried about me. I was disappointed. I have no clue why I had my hands down.

during a game a ball came straight down so I pancaked it but instead of going straight up it hit my face and then my setter got it up by kicking my face and it was so emberassing

In gym today there are a couple girls who know how to play volleyball (me) and some that are ok and we only had a giant volleyball and I ran into the collapsed bleachers trying to get it. My team got the point tho soooo
