    I can’t do most preworkout drinks 😫 I can’t have caffeine. I use BCAA’s (amino acids) from Momsanity.

    Oh you don’t like Hiit or Barre??! 😂 Those are my favorites! I like dancing, and I like getting a quick workout in, short and sweet. I need heavy weights at home! I’ve had my 8s forever, and I need some 12s and 15s. I tried squatting with my boys on my back actually, and I was like I should do this!

    I like Barre - I just find it harder than the weights, lol! But HIIT makes me feel like I'm going to die 😅 I just bought some 12s! Sometimes you need those in between weights to work up to the next! Haha - good idea to use your kids as weights! LOL!

    I definitely need more energy! 😊 I live in Oregon where it rains for what seems like 7 mos straight. 🌧️ I have a treadmill coming on Monday to help supplement my walking during these crazy rainy months. I promised my husband that I’ll use it and not let it become a laundry drying rack. I’m really excited! I think I’ll try scheduling it in my calendar like you recommended so that I actually do it. 😊❤️

    Woah!!! That's so much rain! Great idea with the treadmill! (Lol about the laundry rack) you got this!! Scheduling it made it much easier for me to remember and kept that goal flashing in my face!

    Yay! I'm so glad to hear that! ☺️🤍 lol!! That's an important part of the puzzle too, huh? Lol! Sooo I'm not as great in that department buuutt my biggest strength there is eating slowly! You'll get full faster and therefore be less likely to overeat! "My fitness pal" is an awesome app to track what you're eating (at least for a few weeks) so you get a better idea of how you're doing with your eating in day! Then you can better make educated adjustments.

    @@TheJohnsonCrew Thanks for the ideas-I’ll give it a try. Used to, I could eat whatever I wanted as long as I worked out. But as I creep up towards 40, my metabolism seems to be grinding to a halt 😱

    @@brittanyedwards3293 Yep... getting old comes with so many fun surprises, doesn't it?! 🤪😅 Just make gradual adjustments so it feels natural and easy to stick with (is what I've heard at least ;) )

    This video was SO helpful for me, thank you for making it. Wondering what times during the day have you seen best work for you to fit workouts in? I also homeschool 2 kiddos and once we are done homeschooling my energy levels are low.

    I like to workout in the afternoons! We finish up school by lunch time (even if that means a little later lunch) and then while they're doing their own things, I work out! My energy drops in the afternoon sometimes too, so I'll drink a pre-workout drink to boost my energy back up! (link to what I use is in description!)
