These Stars Have Died In 2024 & No One Is Talking About It
Ойын-сауық
An original star of "The Office," a musical legend, and a beloved Bond girl. For some reason, these stars barely made a ripple in the media when they died in 2024.

These people deserve the respect they truly deserve
I met James Kotak at a club in Hollywood where we went for a MSG concert a few years ago. It was shortly after he had been fired from the scorpions and was working to revive his original band kingdom come. I didn’t find out about his death until April 13 when I saw the scorpions in Las Vegas and they did a tribute song in his memory. He may not have been a big star, but he was truly a very down to earth and friendly person. RIP my friend.
Thanks for the wonderful times and entertainment you've given us, God bless you and your families. PEACE AND LOVE TO EVERYONE ❤❤.
Emmet also played in tales from the crypt

I was mentored by a famous writer and actor, he was on Bonanza years ago, wrote a book called Too Rich:Murder of Doris Duke and helped produce the original American Gladiators show. Among other things, he died back in fall last year. Never got the recognition although people probably didn't know he passed

To be honest, the only person I know from this list of people was M. Emmet Walsh. I'd never heard of any of the others. Not that I'm the standard, but I'd be willing to bet it's why their deaths never made big news. A lot of little known people from the entertainment world die and we never hear of it. And for reference, M. Emmet Walsh's death was mentioned on a lot of sites and shows, including mainstream media. I'm not really sure he should be included in this list.
No offense to anyone. May they all rest in peace. I am NOT surprised that these artists' passings went mostly ignored by the media. I have known since I was a child that there are A LOT of wonderful artists in the world, but the media only promotes the chosen few, for a variety of reasons. These are generally the ones who are making the titans of the entertainment industry the most millions. These folks are shoved down our throats (e.g. Madonna, New Kids on The Block, NSYNC, Justin Bieber, etc.) while others (e.g. Steve Earle, Lucinda Williams, RUSH, etc.) are ignored.

@@blairturner139 Ha Ha! 😂 The old "The Chicken or The Egg Debate." Are they promoted because the public demands them or does the public demand them because they are promoted? There IS a reason that corporations spend millions of dollars on advertising, promoting their products and it is NOT because the public is clamoring for their product it IS because the public is NOT.

Charles Dierkop was in 'Wolf in the Fold', in the original Star Trek series.
M. Emmet Walsh is the ornery neighbour in Christmas with the Kranks, that’s what I always remember him from!
for me Walsh will always be the hilarious psycho-sniper/detective going thru a phase in The Jerk. A classic comic performance. Dierkop turned in many memorable character performances on the big and small screen, usually as a gun moll (he just had that look). I will remember him as a second banana henchman on a particularly good episode of Mission: Impossible in 1972. He would have made a good Charles Manson.
RIP Harry Klein.
Charles dierkop was awesome R.I.P.
I know Emit Walsh died because he's in some of my favorite movies.
Ron Thompson, an actor often overlooked, passed away on April 13th, 2024. He is best remembered for his role in "American Pop."
Sometimes something happens.
3:09 Another Gap Band member, John Black Jr, also passed away in late 2023 I believe. He joined the Gap Band about 1979 and was also a Pastor/Minister in the Los Angeles area.
Fritz Wepper’s brother died too.
problem with famous people... there are so many ov them you cant keep track ov who is famous....
Keithy no way. And Emmit. They left a mark that was awesome.
I had assumed M.Emmet would live forever. It was a shock even though it really shouldn’t have been.

I don’t think I knew a single person on here.
M. Emmet Walsh was the John C. Reilly of the 80s.
Dierkop was also famously one of the uncredited baddies in the Batman TV series. RIP. I always thought that Albert Collins was Stevie Ray's mentor. I have not heard of W.C. Clark. RIP. Boss Laws? SERIOUSLY?? This is your contribution to DEI, right? It's really no wonder at all why most of these folks' passings were not chronicled anywhere.

I knew about the dad on Big Fat Greek Wedding but otherwise i have no idea who any of these people are lol
That clot shot just hit different huh?
A bunch of B list character actors died is why we don't know them. And they lived so long (70 to early 80s) that we would definitely forget them living way past their prime. Youth is wasted on the young.
Got really tired of "a handful of news outlets".

nobody is talking because nobody knows who any of them are

Don’t really give movie stars any thought thru out my day there not that important
9:30 once again just because someone thinks they are special and popular doesn’t make it so. Jim from office America would never go unnoticed. Europe office was weird and they speak with an accent. So no one watches it to fall asleep. The accent will drive you nuts. Hence not as popular as the American version.
no love for Lanny Flaherty/Big Al ? 👎
Not stars
Why should these people be talked about for passing? How many people pass away every day? Why are they not recognized? These people are just like everyone else on this rock. They live, they die and the world still goes on.

Good question. These people have been seen by millions. Yes, people die every second as being born the same day. Difference between these people on this video. They are not truly known but a lot of people recognize them compared to us everyday people. They left memories to many from being on shows, movies, music, sports, etc. As we do the same thing just to a very smaller amount of people (family and friends).

Maybe Not,,but playing a musical instrument good enough to make it in a band would qualify to be a star, it’s damn hard work and dedication!,, I’m mother of 3 musicians,I taught my boys to love and play and practice, and they have for years, 2 great guitarist and 1 drummer,, one has his own band,
