@@lonewolfemcquade8133 It would be the first time I see an over proud of himself Brit that drinks coffee, usually they drink tea, but are always pretty self centered anyway. Coffee is a drink using brewed coffee grains that should not be served diluted in a pinte of hot water FYI.

The phrase comes from the slum worker areas of U.K. cities.Particularly in the North.I am old enough to remember the outside toilets shared by several households. All well built out of brick, they had to be well built shared by up-to six families. They had whitewashed walls, and we used newspaper cut into squares on a piece of string for wiping. Each had a couple of massive pet spiders in the corner. The really tough areas had “holes” side by side. So if your timing was wrong you ended up Sat side by side with a neighbour doing your ablutions!! Must have crossed the pond with migrant industrial workers. Ahh the “good old days”!!!

I have that Fredrick Constant world timer and love it.

Yep, I have the CFB Heritage annual calendar chronograph with the big date. You aren’t getting those complications otherwise for near the cost of the CFB.

I love Doxa and they got the Jaques Cousteau connection that's extremely cool and Robert Redford wore a Doxa in Three days of the Condor that's one of the BEST political thrillers ever made. I will definitely add a 600t or a 300t somewhere down the line. You get alot of watch ⌚ for the $definitely going with the Silver Serambler dia or Mother of pearl .I like they have alot of dial options. Because the last thing I need is another black ⚫ dial watch😄

@@jh-il5sb Oh I agree that's their trademark ™️ style that they are known for The 300t and the 600t sometimes that just happens with a brand. They get attached to a certain style and Doxa is definitely one of them

What do you think of the Ball Roadmaster Pilot gmt?

Doxa’s appeal is not only the design, the colors, but also the heritage. Not like they’ve been around since 1700 or anything, but there’s something charming about wearing the same watch that my grandfather could’ve worn. Virtually unchanged since the 60’s. That’s iconic. That’s the appeal.

I bought an IWC Pilot Mk XX. It gained 11 seconds a day which I thought was absolutely terrible at that price point. I took it back. A fabulous looking watch so I was very disappointed.

@@rrs1234567 No but I still would have had the refund. The shine had gone off of the purchase and I just wanted to get rid. Interestingly I stopped wearing it for three days before I took it back and it was still running. 5 day power reserve.
