We really need a Silver game with Blaze playing a major part as a playable character. Silver has so much potential. He had two entire comic story arcs in Archie, and they were fantastic. Maybe you could do a game about the return of Mephiles, and him regaining his memories of 06. We know from Colors DS that he did feel a familiarity with Blaze. Knuckles is my second choice, though. He was good enough to get his own comic series. For all of its faults, it was interesting and had good parts.

Id genuinely sell my left kidney for a mystery adventure chaotix game I think they’d work very well in a world with an explorable hub with quests and a story partially connected through certain npcs You could very easily have a mix of dif gameplay styles with a mix of escape room, investigations, classic fast paced stages, stealth or evasion levels The only thing is that it would have to be primarily treated as a comedy with silly plot twists and squabbles and such cause that’s just the chaotix vibe

I was just thinking about how Silver is so underrated. He held his one against Infinite for a little bit. I loved the idea of a hedgehog from the past, present, and future. But recently Silver’s hasn’t been touched by Sega in a while. He’s been collecting dust for a few years.

Spin offs with Silver or Blaze would go so hard. We barely know enough about them and their worlds to begin with so having games centered around them and being able to actually explore those worlds would be cool to see. When it comes to other spin offs, I think the Chaotix definitely deserve a spin-off, center around doing detective cases and what not, meeting new characters, maybe running into familiar ones, such as Cream, Vanilla, Mighty, Ray, the Hooligans. Not sure how the gameplay could work but I would like to have something similar to Professor Layton, with platforming elements. An Eggman centered tactical RPG would be interesting to see, controlling different badniks and making mechs to take on GUN or the Restoration would be cool to see. Also would get to see Eggman in his daily life, how he interacts with Orbot, Cubot, Metal Sonic, and Sage.

Espio really needs a spinoff it can be fast paced and you should be able to stealth through the level or beat every enemy. Espio should be able to climb walls and go invisible and use throwing stars or kuni. it'd be awesome.

A strategy game with Eggman as the lead would be great, building up the Eggman Empire building Eggman Land sending your robots to "crush that annoying hedgehog"

Crazy idea...Knuckles Chaotix 2. Although Knuckles could carry a game on his own, he wouldn't be hurt by sharing the screen with the Chaotix, who are far less likely to get a game on their own. Similar to Adventure, where each character gets about 10 stages with unique play styles, or just unique stages with each character sharing similar mechanics, like Frontiers. Now that Knux is committed to living a life outside of Angel Island, he could try hanging out with regular folk and decides helping the Chaotix constitutes as that, or maybe he does one last job as Emerald Guardian and recruits the Chaotix to help him. Maybe Rouge is a recurring rival to Knuckles who helps in the last story while Fang, Bark and Bean are a now-canon anti-Chaotix so that everyone has a rival and Infinite or another pre-existing villain is in the shadows and their presence is a mystery the Chaotix investigates...Mostly, use what characters they already have rather than make anyone new...Maybe Sonic and Shadow are post-game unlockables just in case their huge popularity disparity over everyone else helps generate interest.

“Usually” when shows give a side character a spinoff, it always starts and ends up hated/failing/failed

Makes me happy to see a lot of Knux love recently and hope that continues and maybe they could sprinkle a bit of love for silver soon!

Couple things I want to mention. 1) I'm glad I'm not the only one who has been thinking about this concept of expanding on the Sonic brand by giving fan favorite characters solo games! 2) Nearly everything you've mentioned about a solo Knuckles game is what I want. Puzzle solving, treasure hunting, DMC style combat, deep story telling with fun interactions with Spirit-Form Tikal & Rouge as an antagonist set on Angel Island! 3) I slightly disagree with your least. I think a solo Tails fighter-plane gameplay can fit in this somewhere & Switching Silver with Knuckles for the #1 spot. Knuckles has existed far longer, has shown more potential while Silver unfortunately got stuck with a time travel story and those never really go well. I think Silver should be completely rebooted into Blaze the Cat's dimension from Sonic Rush where he befriends Blaze & Marine. The other ideas were pretty awesome though.

Great video! I definitely agree with Blaze honestly, she barley appears nowadays and has a lot more potential to explore

Yeah, Blaze can have her own series. She was great to play as in the Sonic Rush series. Given that her archenemy is Eggman Nega, or at least a version of him considering that there are possibly two different Dr. Eggman Nega, and she is the guardian of the Sol Emeralds, she's sort of an amalgamation of Sonic and Knuckles in a way.

I think that all the ideas that you mentioned of who should get spin-off games and what those games could be about, are some pretty clever ones! Along with Sonic and Shadow, Silver is the third one of my 3 most liked characters in the Sonic franchise, and I agree 100% that he's the one who is the most deserving of getting a spin-off game that would be about him. It sucks a lot that he's never been a playable character in story filled mainline Sonic games ever since Sonic 06 became a big glitchy failure, he shouldn't continue to be pushed to the side and barely be seen in the games anymore! I hope Paramount decides to make a Sonic 4 movie that will have Silver in it, after releasing the third one which will likely have a lot of stuff about Shadow happening in it.

All these characters need their own spin off games; Blaze, Knuckles, Silver, Team Chaotix, Mighty, but unless Sonic's the face, people aren't going to buy them.

Unfortunately so as I dont think it would sell all that well without sonic being in the game or at the very least a huge part of the game but I would love to see them be playable in the future in a sonic game!

The next mainline sonic game MUST have a playable silver.

Imagine solving mysteries in a Team Chaotix game. While as comical as Scooby Doo.

The only thing I want with a Silver game or story is to finally explore Silver's good timeline. As we always only sees teasers of it. But we never explore them.

It doesn’t seem clear, but if Blaze and Silver were playable on a spin off game focusing on those two, I feel Eggman Nega would be the villain they’d have to tangle with regularly. He’d be a great foil to parallel Eggman with Tails and Sonic. They’re rivalry, compared to Silver and Blaze’s rivalry with Nega. He’s meant to be a descendent to Eggman, but bent on destroying the world rather than ruling it. So him terrorizing the future, and the Sol dimension, doesn’t seem too out of the question. He’s from the future, so I feel he’d have a way to travel through time and space. Being trouble for Silver and Blaze, the same way Eggman is trouble for Sonic and Tails.

Would be really cool to see if nega was a part of that story and I’d be awesome to see what sega could come up with for a story for those 3 and would keep it more traditional to most sonic games but would also be cool to potentially introduce someone new for a villain role or bring someone like Mephiles back in some but ultimately I think a lot of things could work for blaze and silver :)

There’s so much potential there to make a comic series or spin-off game involving Silver, Blaze, and Eggman Nega, as these there have barely been touched by Sega in the Sonic franchise. So much untapped storytelling with them. But, it feels more like a question if Sonic Team and Sega are bold, and willing to invest in them. There’s still a clamor for more Blaze and Silver, Eggman Nega would just be a great foil as their own villain. Time will tell of Sega let’s Sonic Team make such a gamble.

I think Silver could be in a spinoff with Blaze or even the Chaotix. Blaze and him just have great chemistry, and I'd love to explore the Sol Dimension more. The Chaotix maybe is a bit more of a stretch, but I can see Silver going to them to try uncovering the truth behind a mystery from the past in order to resolve a future predicament. Knuckles absolutely would rock a spinoff title as well. I liked the treasure hunting stages, so I wouldn't mind them being brought back in addition to the mote traditional style we are accustomed to. Rouge would probably make for the best company regardless of if he's exploring the past or just getting off the island to treasure hunt (like Frontiers seems to want him to do). The Chaotix (yes, again, I know), Tikal, or even Sonic and Tails would be cool cameos as well, depending on the situation.

Besides Sonic, everyone deserves their own game.

Honestly imo, Metal needs his own game due to needing a redemption arc in terms of character. Metal went from being able to contend with Super Sonic and "Super" Tails and Knuckles in Heroes to being a robot that Eggman just throws at Sonic.

In my opinion Silver deserves a spin-off Maybe even tie it into the next mainline game in some way like Sonic Mania being tied into Forces And...i want to see what Silver's future looks like after Sonic 06 eraises itself off the timeline I want to see Silver with a more open-world and combat focused game like Frontiers... but Blaze takes the show a few times for some Boost × Adventure styled stages That would be interesting to see a nerfed boost or an advanced 2 stlyed boost with momentum being a thing

I would kill to see a silver game. Like you he is one of my favorite characters and any little bit I get from him makes me happy but I just want more! He’s so interesting and yet also not just a cool guy. He has this dorky aspect to him that’s fun to see. And makes him such a likable character

IDW is already giving some characters a mini-series

All of these ideas are great, I would try and make some, but I'm not a coder.

About Silver's game... I know great gameplay landmark for it - Gravity Rush 1-2. I recommend those games every one who has PS4/PS5.

Silver is the GOAT

Shadow needs a second chance to be honest. And they should make it extremely simple, linear progression. Not too complicated but hard, darker themed and skill tree with Chaos powers with Super shadow appearances. More creative bosses requiring specific Chaos Powers to defeat. Proper display of Shadows raw strength and skillset via Quicktime events can help things along as well. Shadow hasnt gotten extensive interactions with alot of the characters so that would be an opportunity to bring them in. Knuckles needs one for Obvious reasons. Tails as well. Silver can benefit with a similar scheme. Espio is a good choice but the Chaotix shouldn’t be separate imo. Plus as shown throughout, Vector is the best detective of the bunch.

Unfortunately, I don't think a Knuckles game would be able to cover the Echidna tribe very well. Not when there's a crazy guy called Ken Penders who thinks he owns the Echidna tribe is out there.

Unfortunately this is true and probably why sega doesn’t touch on it a bunch anymore only bits and pieces but I honestly would be fine with then just redoing the story of knuckles to make it make more sense and also avoid any ken situations

I like all the ideas my only thing with Espio, he doesn't have much of personality idk, he doesn't give main character energy enough like the others on the list, I'd replace with Rouge she's more interesting imo

In my opinion, I think Blaze should have her own solo game with a classic theme around her to explore her own past. Also I wonder what a Knuckles mobile game would be like in the theme of tower defense or In Knuckles case island defense.

Blaze isn’t an alternate Sonic. They’re drastically different characters. Just because she’s from a different dimension, that doesn’t mean she has to be a different version of a certain character.
