There is so much valuable info here. You are right about daily/weekly wardrobe declutter. When I notice something in my closet that I don't wear or haven't in a long time I pull it out and put it in my donation/thrift store pile. I donate regularly and also shop for timeless, quality items while I'm there. Another excellent point is NOT buying things that don't suit you. Keep the videos coming Diana.

I really loved this video! I find it useful, professional and inspiring. Also, I appreciate extremely the fact that you share with us older pictures of yourself and found the courage to be vulnerable and show your personal journey to style and in life! Last but not least, I think that your yellow occasion dress is beautiful and all you need to do is try to approach it with a different mindset. What I mean by that, is that I would definitely try to wear it with some white or even yellow summer espadrilles or some sneakers for the spring-summer season and also I would really want to make it more edgy, so I would combine it with some black leather alligator print knee high boots and some also black leather trench coat or just a classic one for the autumn-winter season.💛🌻

I have always been drawn to statement pieces, to the detriment of versatility in my wardrobe. That and the transition to retirement clothing wise has been an interesting challenge.

I'm in!! I love that you listened to all our comments and acted on it. The first outfit was lovely but very 'safe'...your trouser suit certainly has the 'it' factor. I am very excited to be doing this. I have loads of clothes that i've bought quite often on eBay, and haven't worn them. Each time I got them I'd tell myself that as they were secondhand I was saving money. I did this a lot of times. I love your ideas about a small number of clothes giving us a large number of stylish outfits. I am going to start before we begin to decluttter by getting certain clothes ready to go to a charity shop. As for the dress that you've only worn once, you could ( like has already been said) top it with a black jacket and either edgy boots or trainers..I have been watching other videos of yours. can you tell?...tee tee...

This video you look like Annie Lennox :). Could it be the change of makeup? Your tips are right on the money. After shopping for 40 years I still put emphasis on the item, not on do I look good in it. The basic mastering tip is a revelation. No wonder it is hard to wear prints because of the limitations on mixing pieces. Also, I had an inkling that I shouldn’t buy too many pants and skirts (vs. tops). Now I can see why.

The yellow printed dress can be versatile, depending on one's personal style. For example, can put an oversized sweater on top and wear it as a skirt; or make it into a mini dress by adding a wide belt and folding the redundant fabric beneath the belt; or add a vest and wear it with boots...

Hi Diana. I got the first step my personal style portfolio. I am tall and o-type and the examples contradict each other. Style that is good for o-type is dont's for tall and opposite. Confusing.

Hi Yuliya! Some camouflage techniques aimed to balance up the figure may have shortening and elongating effect for the silhouette. It’s not about following all of them but applying the one that tick all the boxes for you. If colour contrast is not an option, go for special details, fits, layering etc. I give you the range of tools, you decide what works specifically for your needs.

Dear Helen, I've had hallux valgus since I was 20. I thought like you for years that I had ugly feet when I lived in a hot country I put closed shoes then a podiatrist told me I have to try with varnish or a nice French pedicure. I tried a French and it changed my life I dared to find a pair of sandals (still a little covered but open at the same time!) and I promise you that I challenge myself every summer to find the perfect pair or golden, fantasy or nude that will go with everything. Try a nice Pedicure then a navy or black or gold pair. And above all, look at the feet of celebrities, you have some who have deformed feet and who nevertheless dare to wear sandals👍🏼👍🏼

Try Spanish brand Unisa it’s very comfortable, plus Paul Green and Clark’s work well for women with sensitive feet.
