I wear skirts a LOT. It suits the warm weather in Los Angeles. I don't wear a lot of pants.

I bought a straight denim skirt that looks exactly like her black skirt, including the ridiculously long slit. Took it to a tailor and was able to have the slit shortened to knee length. Fortunately this worked only because the skirt is one size larger than my usual size. It looks so much more chic now and is super versatile - can wear with the slit in front, back, or on either side.

OMG. I haven't worn a skirt in AGES! Good question you asked! Last week I decided to wear a skirt (on a whim) and seriously, it felt wonderful! Why had I been putting it off? I realised that shoes for me has been the biggest factor (and stockings - which I can't remember the last time I wore them) were the reasons I hadn't worn skirts in years. I put them off wearing them because they just seemed to have 'more thinking' involved with them. I've just found your channel and subscribed. Thanks for sharing your tips.

I am in the UK and I have a black, a camel and a dark green pleated skirt in my capsule wardrobe. The first two skirts you showed would be a complete no-no here, as the slit is far too high and the mini is far too short! I notice you didn't show what happens to the slit skirt when you sit down? It's far too cold to wear anything like that here at this time of year, too. However, I'm loving my pleated skirts and have a mix of several options of tops I can wear with them and I love playing around with my accessories to change my look each day. I quite liked the jumper over the coat, but it rains here so much it wouldn't really work.

Just found your channel and subscribed. Love your beauty and professionalism. As for this video…loved it because iOnly wear skirts and dresses and have a pretty edgy look believe it or not. I am long waisted and look much better in skirts and dresses. Thanks for good channel 🎄🙂🙏🏼⭐❤

You crack me up with incorporating your husband’s clothes. He probably wonders if you shop for him if you are eyeing his clothes for you. I do that with my husband’s clothes!😄

Some good ideas, thanks! One thing, I don't think petite & short girls can wear a maxi skirt well as they can get "lost" in too much material, LOL! Also, it's still very cold where we are and I love wearing sweaters; could you do a video on styling them? Thanks for all of your wonderful advice!! 💖

I think it depends whether it’s a fairly straight, slim (not tight) fit vs. wider at the bottom or in other ways high volume. I am dumping a tiered skirt, but looking for something straight, as that’s worked well for me before.

I think the first look was too many accessories it looked too busy take a few items off a mini skirt does look good with a blazer so long as it's the same length as the skirt or slightly longer but longer coats like a trench coat or a long wool coat over coat looks really good with mini skirt and shorts especially in the fall the last outfit because the skirt and trench coat finished at the same length there was too much fabric around the wide part of you calf making your legs look shorter and stumpy long maxi skirt cropped jacket to show that you have a waist short skirt long coat midi skirts can be more awkward if they are pencil type fitted skirt then you can probably go for maxi coat not midi though or a cropped coat if the skirt is floaty then go for a cropped waist length coat or jumper or cardigan this usually works for every body shape 🥰

I only wear skirts and do not have any pants in my wardrobe. It I would never wear a slit in the skirt. NOr would I wear a mini.

Sorry but a short skirt with a longer jacket is a definite NO!!!! It looks horrible!!! It looks like you forgot to put your skirt or pants on and makes the viewer want to look away.
