I learned my lesson the hard way copying my favorite bodybuilder's junk volume workouts. Some caused nagging tiny injuries/soreness. I once copied Dana Linn Baileys' high volume/high set workouts for a month. Ended up with serious shoulder impingement and couldn't lift upper body for about 6 weeks. Now I stick to 4 exercises max for any body part and just make sure I make those 4 exercises have good working sets to get benefits needed out of it

Oh, ya I've looked through her training as well, and it's a lot of junk volume. Trust me, I was a junk volume guy a while ago and had coaches prescribe training plans that were legit 20 sets deep WITH high-volume reps!

Good no bullshit advice, demonstration. A lot of the old school guys used to do behind the neck military presses. I fried my right shoulder doing this. Might have worked for them, but working in health care, I've realized this is not a good thing for shoulder health. You and God rest his soul, John Meadows are my go to guys to get honest, injury prevention way to bodybuild. Thanks man.

13:42 keeping the shoulder blades back and down helps so much for front dumbbell and side dumbbell raises. The body wants to help so bad with upper trapezius muscles, which are strong as hell.

So if you want me to coach up a natural athlete In hopes of watching someing more attainable, sorry to break it to you they will still look unattainable. Jesse James, Will Tennyson and Jeff Nippard are all natural...know what I'm saying. but def listening to this comment fam!

Good advise Jonni. SLOW CONTROLLED FULL RANGE OF MOTION on all exercises. See The Mutant Nick Walker channel. Been training his style for a year and made more gains in 1 yr than I did in 10 yrs. 15-25 sets, 10-15 reps per body part weekly. Example Biceps Monday BB curl, preacher curl, hammer curl 3x10-15 per exercise. Thursday seated machine curl, seated incline db curl, cross body hammer 3x10-15 per exercise. Total 18 sets. l Rest 45-60 sec per set. Drug free over 55 added 2 inches to biceps.

More isn't better. If you're training hard, you should be dropping reps each set within your chosen set and range. Hard work in less time with full ROM and that's it.

Ive always respected your way of being "straight forward". But at the begging when you explain that "whatever he does his muscles will grow, even if he dosnt know what he's doing", why dont you say that it is because of steroids? Is there a underlying rule that you fitness guys cannot say that about each other?
