BIG SLAM !!!!! 🥳🥳🥳
The Ana using Nano on the Kiriko was such an obvious bate, the number of spectating bronze we have watched and still never seen a bronze player Nano a kiriko. That along with the mythic skin, gold gun, confirm Nano target and him pooping off at the end made it obvious it wasn't him.

@TraumaQueen65 honestly if you are still in bronze by the time you have a golden gun then you must be pretty bad at the game.

Having a mythic skin and a golden gun means nothing, especially if it's your main character. There are a ton of OW players that are still bronze and have a golden gun on their main.

Aim ? There is no good or bad aim on Hanzo, rest assured.
I actually got both right this time holy shit. I thought definitely kafka bc he didn't use roll to get behind cover, held onto ult WAY too long, very rarely or never tried to use nades and wasn't really hitting as many shots as I thought a gold would - the red team was difficult but emongg pointing the lifeweaver out and seeing multiple opportunities (bastion dying to other bastion ult) to use lifegrip and elevate himself or teammates really helped. That being said I was only SURE about kafka and not the lifeweaver but the amount of time spent spectating him definitely helped. It's really interesting though how the difference between gold and bronze isn't so noticeable that we have an entire series dedicated to picking them out, I definitely need to up my skills (high gold/low plat support here)

i guessed kiriko and lifeweaver due to the fact that neither swapped. and emongg said they were playing their main which would likely mean they won’t swap.

The ana was immediately ruled out in my eyes because I'm a Gold Ana/Brig player and that Ana looked like what MY ana would look like if I screwed with my sens and turned on confirm nano to disrupt my timings. Lifeweaver was pretty obvious because he was too passive.
@bmoxley16

I main life weaver and so he stuck out pretty hard for me rarely charged his heals past 25 non existent pulls that could have saved several teammates and never took highground with or without the petal platform the petals are one of the strongest parts of his kit when you learn to use them and can let you solo heal your team in alot of fights
@nugudave

was not able to guess kafka but thought it was lifeweaver cause when emongg was spectating junkerqueen ulting, killing an enemy and then lw ulted iirc. xDD thank you.
Massive misdirection by that Ana. That positioning seemed like pure bronze.
Having been part of a group that ran metal rank only scrims for 2 years in OW1... Within an "organized game" of a scrim, outside of brand new players it's harder to tell a bronze from any other metal rank than it is to tell a plat from a diamond. That might also be because everyone initially was placed in gold/silver for the most part when they did their first placements in OW1.
im halfway into the video and i recognize the name Kafka and I was like "omg why do I recognize that name have I played against them?!".....Its the name of the sexy evil lady from HSR... bruuuh

Don't forget that it's still metal rank so on a character with an extreme skill ceiling like Ana there won't be THAT much difference compared to some lower metal ranks imo

A good day starts with some Emongg! I gotta say though, I know plenty of bronzes who have golden weapons, all the skins, etc. They just love the game and have played long enough to get all the things but are still in bronze for whatever reason.
i was debating between kafka and ana damnnn
Love this vid its amazing plz do more of thiese
the funniest thing that i noticed was that his only reason for the Hanzo not being bronze was accurate storm arrows, i have nearly the same game sense and aim... and i'm stuck in bronze 5
What a swell treat!!!
Dunno why people didnt notice it was Kafka on team 1, but just watch from 4:51 and it's pretty clear. The amount of whiffing is way too high for gold, and also over the course of 2 whole team fights they didnt throw even a SINGLE nade

The way I understand it it starts you in a rank according to your initial performance, but given it's (presumably) a new account from a (presumably) new player, it's fair to assume they'd either start or fall to bronze, staying there for a while.

I like the nano thing but i'm not in bronze

Prediction: It's Kafka
I was thinking, winning the Overwatch match isn't necessarily important for winning the challenge as a whole. Given that participants are incentivized to do poorly to conceal their rank, in the worst case both teams could just stay in spawn and the Host wouldn't be able to figure out who is bronze beyond just guessing. In the following comment post, I will outline a formal ruleset for this game-mode in order to create a definitive win state and incentivize winning the overwatch match to add more complexity. In this 'Game', there are three opposing teams, with a total of twelve participants: the 'Host' team, consisting of solely the Host, who is unaware of the ranks of the Players, the two 'Player' teams, each consisting of four 'Innocents' (the 'Mid-Rank' players) and one 'Imposter' (the 'Low-Rank' player), and a 'Referee' to validate that there is one Low-Rank player per team, that they are playing on their Low-Rank role, and that there are four Mid-Rank players per team, and that they are playing their Mid-Rank roles. Once the teams are ready, the two Player teams play a 'Match' of Competitive Overwatch against each other in a custom game lobby, with the Host and (optionally) the Referee in Spectator slots. Once the Match starts, the Host is allowed to spectate it in order to gain information on the Players and decide which ones must be the Imposters. After the Match, the Host has one chance per Player team to guess that team's corresponding Imposter. They are awarded a Gold Medal (one point) for guessing correctly, validated by the Referee. If the Host guesses incorrectly however, the corresponding Player team gains the Gold Medal instead. The Player teams also have the secondary goal of winning the Match. The winning Player team gain a Silver Medal (half-point) for their Victory. Since there is always only one winning Player team, this acts as a tie-breaker between the two Player teams. After the Host's guesses are finished, the team with the most points win. In the case a Player team ties for first place with the Host team, the Host wins. A few notes about the consequences of this ruleset: - By granting a Silver Medal to Player teams for winning the Match, it requires them to balance between trying to perform well, and trying to deceive the Host. If an Innocent performs too well, it will be obvious they are Innocent. However if an Imposter is able to perform just as well, the Host may write them off as an Innocent. It may lead to compositions that play around the Imposters strengths, to give the impression that they are more skilled. - The two Player teams are competitors to each other -- that is to say, they are on a symmetrical playing field in terms of their objectives and rules. However, the Host is more of an adversarial relationship to the Player teams; the relationship is asymmetrical. Despite this, there are clear win conditions for all teams involved, and there can only be one winning team. A more definitive ruleset for the Game bolsters the compelling dynamic between the three Teams and allows for strategy to form around it. - A Player team is guaranteed a win if they both win the Match and conceal their Imposter successfully. Meanwhile, a Host is guaranteed a win by correctly guessing both Imposters. However, a Host can still win if they correctly guess the Imposter on the winning Team. It leaves all teams with only a partial victory. The Match-winning Player team couldn't conceal the Imposter's identity, and the Player team that did, still lost the Match. Meanwhile, the Host was only able to correctly guess one Imposter. This is probably the only meaningful state the Game could end in a Tie. But assuming the game MUST have one winning the team, it makes sense for the Host to win as the singular asymmetrical team. Besides, guessing the Imposter correctly is pretty hard I'd imagine, it's only fair. - It's important to note that while the Host wins or loses singularly, the Player teams win or lose as a collective. This puts the Imposter player in a somewhat overwhelming position, being the one with significant impact over their whole team's success. It's easy to come to the logical conclusion that it's their fault for the team losing, so please be considerate of them. Etiquette isn't the first thing I think of when I think of gamers, so I figured it'd be important to mention. In retrospect, I'm.. not really sure why I wrote this. 12 people is definitely a lot for a game-mode, and well once you know people's ranks you can't play it again, so this is only really viable for larger communities. But in case Emongg or anyone else wants to adopt this system, feel free to use and modify as you wish. There are some other things to consider, like adjusting how much points to give out, tie breaking, dealing with draws to allow for hybrid maps, etc., it's up to the Referee how the rules are used. Anyways, enjoy.
is it just me or does 1080p look rlly bad?? i swear youtube lowered the quality of the free 1080p for the paid one.
