I've been dipping a toe into fragrance (thanks to your channel!) but I also don't prioritize my disposable income on them because perfumes can be pricey. I would love to see you do more affordable fragrance videos in the future. Sometimes a perfume you describe sounds amazing, and I Google it and nearly pass out when I see the price tag lol.

personally I just buy from brands that make dupes of these perfumes that Lauren recomends I just google the name of the perfume plus dupe. Most of the time they smell identical to the authentic. Usually i choose the brands that they have physical stores so i can actually test them and be sure they are safe.

oakcha and dossier have good dupes, if you like oils, oilperfumery (i think its called) does dupes as well for expensive frags

I do a lot of small decants with super expensive perfumes.

You should try Chocolate Citronique by Sphinx Fragrance! It’s such a yummy chocolate covered biscuit with orange and almond. It’s less grainy than Chocolate Greedy and is more sophisticated. I just got mine today and I can’t stop smelling myself 😍🥰

Cocoa Woods is awesome. I bought a rollerball and two full sizes when I heard it was being discontinued. I’m about to “break into” my second full size, and I will be bummed when it’s used up. I work on a military base in their medical group, and get tons of (almost creepy) compliments on it.

Funny story about By the Fireplace: I love it! And I had just bought it. And I wore it out to a dinner with two girlfriends. When I got there, one of them hugged me, and said I smelled super good. After we were sitting at our table for a while, the other one said, “Is it me, or does this restaurant smell like sawdust?” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I have the 100ml bottle, have been working through it for a few years. It has definitely changed over time, not in a bad way, but it’s noticeable. Whereas it used to be very sweet and spicy, it transitioned to super woody, and now it is a strong smoke 💨 show. Suuuuper smoky now.

I pull out my Chabaud fragrances when I want Chocolate Milk or Sugar Cookies or Milk and Cookies. I don’t want straight up food like fragrances but they are so close and don’t smell artificial. They are elegant but so very delicious.

I think it's the "salted butter accord" in Raised Spirits that you're describing (it's not listed on Fragrantica) 😊 I love it so much and how it affects the other notes.

The TreeHut holiday scents for the body scrubs are amaaazing. I bought back-ups of pumpkin spice and candy cane lol

These are my “smell like a winter snack” favorites in my collection: Zara Nocturnal Life (smells a lot like Angels’ Share), Clinique Cocoa & Cashmere and Cookies & Kisses, Sabrina Carpenter Sweet Tooth, Nest Cocoa Woods and Angel Muse.

Angels share is my favorite wear for winter time and I wish I could afford to bathe in it! At least the lasting power is 👌🏽

I picked up Ginger Biscuit and I love it. I also recently bought Snif Crumb Couture and it’s supposed to smell like a buttery croissant and it does smell delicious.

I am also obsessed with Yog Nog and I have a bunch of Kyse fragrances!! I was so disappointed that Lush didn’t come out with Yog Nog this year as a fragrance…I was lucky to have found it on Mercari last year thanks to you for a good price, but I wanted another bottle. If you love the Jo Malone gingerbread fragrance, you really need to check out Genre Parfum’s version…so much better, longer lasting and I don’t feel like it’s to much either…it just lasts longer and is the perfect gingerbread cookie/biscuit scent!! I have Navitus Raised Spirits also and I do really enjoy it, but I don’t get gingerbread from it l…I get the more of the nutty, tobacco notes from it…but the Genre version is spot on/on point!!

I just recently saw the Chocolate Greedy on a random perfume girlie's channel! I wanted to try thisamd one that i heard smells like chocolate chip cookies, I can't remember off the top of my head lol.

I received a travel size sample of This is Her a few months ago. I was sooo excited to try it because the note breakdown looked perfect to me: lactonic, nutty, vanilla…hell yeah. Unfortunately, it did not smell how I imagined, not even close, and I put it aside to revisit or pass along. Well, after hearing you rave about it again, I thought I’d give it another try and I realize the issue now. Something about my skin really pulls the jasmine forward. It’s kind of like milk soaked jasmine on me, whereas on your skin is sounds like the sandalwood and cream come through. I’m not getting the vanilla, pink pepper, sandalwood, or chestnut at all. And that’s just the way it goes sometimes with perfume; skin plays a huge role, could be my nose too. 🤷‍♀️ Wish it smelled on me the way it smells to you. I, also, wish they had used orange blossom, iris, or tuberose, as those agree with me a lot more than jasmine. Glad I didn’t blind buy a bottle or anything based on how appealing it sounded to me.

@@rosiel2774 Don’t fret! I bet it’ll smell great on you. I think my experience is the minority. It is an extremely popular fragrance, which means it probably agrees with most people’s skin, and most reviewer do find it consistent with the notes listed. Actually, the jasmine did mellow as I wore it, and I decided I like it enough to put the travel size aside for springtime when I tend to where more florals and flourmands. It may not be full bottle worthy for me, but hopefully it is for you. And if not, it’s a lux perfume…you could easily re-sell or re-gift.

I love your video’s! I haven’t smelled ginger biscuit but it sounds amazing. I received red hibiscus intense by Jo Malone as a gift and it is so amazing. It reminds me of Hugo boss deep red but with better longevity and quality. I do not understand why nobody talks about it! Give it a sniff and Lmk😁

lauren! i know you love ginger biscuit and i wanted to ask if you could try out the miimmiic No. 44 which is their version of ginger biscuit!! If you never heard of miimmiic fragrance they make dupes for alot of trendy perfumes and i find their quality is actually great, i feel like everyone of their fragrance weather an exact dupe or not is standalone in its own way. i kinda just wanted to see if the dupe was worth it or i should splurge

How does the Zadig and Voltaire compare with commodity milk?

Honestly, I get Orange chocolate shortbread biscuits from Chocolate Greedy. It's not a chocolate to my nose. It's an orange flavoured baked good containing chocolate, my nose cannot avoid that orange. Unfortunately, I would have loved a straight-up coco puffs scent.

Ginger Biscuit is pretty but it doesn't last at all for that price...
