Shy Guy Bazaar was planned to be in the original WiiU DLC, but SNES Rainbow Road took its place, so sad that it couldn't in the BCP either 😔

Wow, MK8/DX modders are really improving fast. Almost none of these have the signature "weird skybox" issue all MK8 CTs have had until now. All these look fantastic and even official. My only complaints are: Shy Guy Bazaar is overscaled (though from the looks of it, downscaling it might not be possible) and Piranha Plant Pipeline might be underscaled. Otherwise, I'm blown away especially by Dry Dry Ruins, Airship Fortress, Dry Dry Falls, N64 Mario Raceway, GCN Dino Dino Jungle, N64 Moo Moo Farm, N64 Wario Stadium, N64 Frappe Snowland, and the unexpected Jingle Battle. SO many of these are straight up official-tier. Props again to the modders/creators.

Ok I’m actually digging that sunset at N64 Mario Circuit, the original version of N64 Royal Raceway had a sunset but N64 Mario Raceway didn’t, if there were ever a remake for that track, they better add a sunset for it like in this video. 🤩 Also Dry Dry Falls might have to be one of the best Desert Tracks, official or fanmade that I have seen

Who knows? Maybe Nintendo will make an inspired version of it and credit the creators name, this is a very unexpected company when it comes to some of the stuff they do with their games.

YUP, I hate Dry Dry Dessert more than dogs naturally hate cats. But since they’re is a LOT of good or could be potentially good tracks that could come in Mario Kart 9, so who knows?

Even if I don’t like the track, I think it has a LOT of WINTER WONDER that it could bring in the next game!

New rainbow road confuses me, I don't know if I'd be able to play that on 200cc.

It’s an interesting layout to say the least? The camera does not work for the level with blind turns. Also not a huge fan of some of the parts, lots of weird glider sections and the part with the mushrooms feels like it was added for the sake of having something there

@@gwolft6996 Yeah, it doesn't seem like it was that well made. I don't want to be overly critical, its a mod after all, but it needs a lot of polish. The turns are so shallow they aren't interesting, the ramps sends you in weird directions, it just doesn't feel like a "new" rainbow road rather than a collage of random rainbow road assets into one track that isn't coherent.

how times have changed, the first custom tracks from mario kart wii were complete shit and now we have better looking remakes than the booster pack made by nintendo

HONESTLY, that shy guy bazaar remake looks like Nintendo officially made it. That’s like on the level of the official waluigi stadium remake in the BCP, GOOD LORD!

Just remember, dude. Figure 8 circuit looks accurate to wave 1 cause it looks like dog water, but every other one definitely looks graphically official than (back when wave 1 released) logically.

Just some constructive criticism for DS Figure-8 Circuit, maybe do what Wii U Mario Circuit does with that glider ramp and add stacked goombas there that way we still have the goombas for the originals but it makes it a bit more challenging for the player and also just make the glider ramp make a bit more sense cause otherwise it's pretty plain to me

Jeeeeeeeesus Christ I got the airship fortress remake I always wanted!! Better than mario kart 8's snes bowser castle 3 remake. That was a very good remake in my opinion.

Thanks! And correct, it's from Olympic Winter games 2010. It was a track I wanted to make for years and figured why not do it for MK8, even though it'd fit Wii a lot more lol.

Actually it’s pretty common today to have sponsors on KZread. There are people way less than me that get a lot more sponsors. It all depends on what content you make 🤷‍♂️

It's a shame we never got shy guy Bazaar as it was originally planned for mk8 dlc 😕 and im still annoyed that we got daisy circuit over piranha plant pipeline. The one course i was looking forward to from tour 😔

Evan the custom tracks are distinctly lacking Bowser('s) Castle tracks. Lol

I personally think 3DS Shy gut bazaar should have been the final track of the Golden Dash cup, replacing 3DS Toad Circuit. Coconut mall is great but I don't think it fits as a final track of a cup, maybe the 3rd track

May I recommend you make a list of the best snow / ice / frozen themed tracks?
