@@typhoonthunder One of MarioPower55’s older videos with the texture hacks for Mario Kart had a sunset track I forget the name of, it was for Mario Kart 8/Deluxe, it might’ve been True Sunset Beach, and it was for Cheep Cheep Beach, I would live there in a heartbeat.

I absolutely love that remake of GBA Lakeside Park by sitbar. It's so faithful to the original while also adding some unique features that make the track stand out. If there was one detail that I would add it would be a lava fountain on top of the volcano you go through towards the end of a lap.

Another video, another spelling error! It's DKR Crescent Island not DKR Crescent Moon. I might be cooked lmao

i'd imagine that with some aesthetic tweaking to make it less similar to cheep cheep beach, the koopa troopa beach one could easily work as an official retro track

By the way, in Lakeside Park, there is that flower inside the volcano in which you can use as a shortcut. It's complicated to find the right opening though.
