I really like to mix this in Lightsworn. It really helps the deck to set up a Baronne, Apoloussa, or that rank 6 DD.

The big thing for me is Fabled. The synergy with the ROTA is obvious, but you can also use the small Fusion to get Fabled back to habd and use their effects again since there are only like 4 Fabled with HOPT, you can also Fusion the Chimera Fusion that sends Beasts to GY, that get you access to Abanc and the Link 1 let you get Kushano in GY. I think you want to play Fabled cards even if you play pure Fiendsmith. Lurrie is an extender and Marcoshia gets you to another interruption on Treason

These card effects are equivalent to ads at sporting events, they're about to be completely crowded wit them in the future to the point where you're gunna need magnifying glasses to see them

Looks fun! I don’t mind the speed of the modern game as long as the decks don’t have broken gimmicks. Snake Eye, for instance I’ve lost to a lot, but I don’t mind the deck as the bouncing monsters to/from back row is pretty strategic and makes it more satisfying to get a win.

I really want to test how splashable this engine is with LiveTwins. It's just one detour during normal setup to get Requiem on the field using ET Kisikil after recovering Lilla. Tribute for Fiendsmith and use it to go back into ET Lilla and continue until you get Trouble Sunny. Then, break her back up into the ET twins and link off into Sequintia putting Friendsmith, ET Kisikil, and Trouble Sunny in the GY for fusion material. You now have Dies Irae with both Sequintia AND Requiem available for equipping! A Non-targetable 3x omni-negate. With just 1 card. That can be searched! And you don't even go -1! Also cheeky Duality shenanigans letting your Dies Irae dodge any non-targeting effects and tagging out for Kaleido-Heart hehe~

Oh I was curious: is there anything Beatrice could send that could be useful in a Chimera deck? Stuff like Berfomet and Gazelle only trigger if sent for fusion summon but I wasn't sure if there were any other cards that could be sent to help that deck get started

its the next diableestart cards imo. gunna be buying these asap!

I love when Tearlament can be mixed with something. Such a fun archetype, possibly the most fun.

After Unchained support, I see Konami want to make the Fiend as Zombie 2.

Those effects are so cool and healthy for the meta i can't wait to try them

They r pretty solid overall

My immediate thought was a splashable wave high king Caesar thanks to the fusion, maybe for stuff like magical musket or decks weak to Nibiru

This Archetype might pair well with darkworlds. Since they're all about fiend monsters and go into fusions, plus Konami is releasing more of Bakura's cards including The Duke of Demise, Spirit Illusion, Spirit Shield etc.

The Quick-Play Spell "Mistaken Accusation" gets more powerful each time engines like this come out.

Weiss lightsworn archfiend seems good with this engine on tearlaments

Magical musket starfire+any runick spell=omni negate.

I won't say that this archtype is good yet since after fire meta, we will enter mahjong meta where battle of handtrap become common occurance.

This archetype is just starting out anyway. I do not even think we have enough information to know what the meta will be after fire meta Mahjong itself is still a fire archetype whose performance we have to see in the tcg. Nor do we know what else is in this set

Either it sets up a caesar to strengthen the board (so you don’t get nibbed pre phantom) OR it’s fiend extension into some of the unchained lines

You know, the art of these cards is mad cool, but the card effects themselves are just rehashed effects with minor changes to restrictions, Yu-Gi-Oh is getting extremely boring, not even broken.
