Thanks for good holy priest content. While I've been trying to avoid saying it out loud, I realize that while I play a lot, my priest wife plays only a couple of hours a month. I understand that there are limits what I can do for our team performance just trying to improve myself, so I've started working on preparing some good materials for her. That way she can use her limited play time optimally trying to improve and not wasting time. I think I should probably try playing a bit with other partners as well and trying to learn that way so that I can instruct her better. For all this 15 years we've only played together, which means we probably haven't been getting enough external output thus perma-locking us into 1400-1500 ratings.

Hit 2100 first two weeks as holy, I didn't even wanna play holy. I was a 2400 disc priest but come the patch my spec was weak....

Great video. Someone was tired while making this though :P 7:16 "your goal is to make sure serenity doesn't proc" (meant guardian) and 12:45 Offensives is spelled "Ofeensives".

What should I do when I get holy locked? And when should I use echo of light and holy word?

eh? think you've missed something.

I Wonder why you did not talk about tier usage? Never use two serenities (or in general holy words) in a row, always weave in a flash heal between. The conduit buff and cd reduction of the first holy word is lost otherwise.

That's a PVE mentality... what if weaving a flash heal gets you kicked? It's a nice bonus when you have the luxury of freecasting for sure but in PvP you can't always be making the most PvE efficient choices.

@@DoublebrutalCS2 yes thats totally true, i just wanted to mention it since i think understanding this helps new Players. Furthermore you can exexute the combo savely with a flash heal instant proc.

8:19 I think that was also a positioning issue he was playing center of map he coulda tried to take an angle around the pillar los hunter and made the hunter have to work for the chain also fearing the pet when it runs at you is a bis strat in situations like that imo

or use one of the billion utilities priest has to get away from cc, its almost like he had fade, holy ward and shadow word death available

@@bigmanjorge3844 valid point i don’t play priest I play hpal so not fully aware of priests cds but 100% right you are (edit tho death wouldn’t be useful for the stun I still agree fading stun and deathing trap woulda been big brain play god I hate how many options hpriest have 🥲)

@@alexanderartemenko8597 yo ong this is my first season I used skill capped and I’m currently at 2100cr I’m gonna be pushing for 22 I just find hpal way more enjoyable with the building spending mechanic and very solid utility

He also had a serenity charge and holy ward up. Lock should have been topped and he should have pre-warded himself seconds before this cc chain. I don't think him GSing himself was game breaking, he didn't use other tools in his kit in the globals leading up to the locks death. He's also targeting himself on the flash heal he gets kicked on lol.

What does proc mean

Personally playing this game for so many years on a high pvp level. My biggest advice is to avoid a mistake of playing this expansion.

First mistake was picking hpriest join the hpal side we have hojs

The holy priest you’re criticizing holy warded a blind btw haha… maybe dumb luck but you don’t see that often

pls nerf Holy Priest, 55% of ladder healer is Holy Priest...

It got nerfed already, I have an h pally. I truly think they are stronger ATM. Both are fully geared.
