To clear up some confusion from a comment, the data tracked spell SPELL OUTPUT vs MMR, not simply SPELL CASTS, as seen here: i.imgur.com/l0L0OKd.png Immolate does not have a higher co-efficient at higher MMR because healers are dispelling more, it has a higher co-efficient because Immolate is doing more damage at higher MMR (because it has higher uptime due to more spell casts). At 3:38, it looks like you're highlighting 4 healers, not 5. The Shaman is Enhancement, not Resto. Then at 3:46 you say 4 out of the 5 highest throughput-to-healing correlations belonging to healing specs. You showed 5 specs there (so which do we eliminate - guessing the Resto Shaman) and there are 6 healing specs. So should I assume that Shaman, Disc, and MW are out? I've probably missed something, I'm running on empty so if someone could explain this, I'd appreciated. I'm a low-bracket Resto Shaman - any advice would help.

3:46 is a small oversight, but the point still stands for Resto Shaman that more healing output is good.

What are some thoughts on Arms warrior? I’m currently at 2073 waiting in the Solo Q to push duelist. Is it basically, spam Execute as top priority? Especially with Sudden Death procs on our 4-set?

Could you do a guide for Enhancement Shamans? I cant find a decent one. The games are feeling really annoying, because the most of the time i am getting trained. I have watched Saul a few times, but well i am not him and cant play that good.

How are enhancement Shaman on the right side next to the healers?

It just means that for enhance the correlation between rating gains and throughput is stronger than for the other DPS specs. So as Enhance it is more important to do as much damage as possible to be able to actually gain rating. As a spec on the left side of the graph, you have to focus on Utility / CC more, because (as the graph shows) throughput alone won't get you far and is not the main factor which benefits your mmr :)

Enh has less advantages than other classes, and it's notably also harder to do DPS with Enh, so the correlation likely means that lower rated Enhs are much worse at enabling and executing their own DPS rotation, and they're winning mostly based on throughput. Chances are that if you can do that much throughput on Enh, you're also pretty good with the rest of their toolkit. I'm betting on self-selection bias - more advanced players play Enh, not newbies. It's less forgiving, you could also say.

It's probably because Resto Shaman healing mostly comes from 4 instant cast sources, where two of them have a longer CD: Riptide, Healing Stream, Earthen, and Earth Shield. This makes Shaman healing "easier" compared to other healers and means in order to gain rating, Shamans need to focus more on CC/defensive play.

Once again though, Mistweaver would benefit from being split into two specs. This data is worthless for Mistweavers because its playerbase is playing vastly different playstyles.

For Lock specs i would have assumed Port & gate would have the most impact on rating :D like kiting good ? idk man

As a frost dk main this is pretty true and sad. Outside of our pillar of frost damage is non existent.

Yeah that was odd for me too, they don't exactly have a lot of buttons to press outside of damage... I know i have a DH. You can't be a stun bot like a Rogue or control the game as well like a Druid. You have some CDs for CCs and dps until they are back. So what exactly are they doing when their instant cast CD abilities aren't available? I'm confused on that one.

@@Kanoog I mean a Dh has 2 stuns 1 incap and 1 fear...If they time those correctly while doing their burst window, it is a win con.

Now every dh is gonna flame every poor low cr healer for not "healing more" when they save blur, darkness and netherwalk for next xpac

both. sp is one of the harder casters to actually get damage off, but it's also utility heavy. at a certain point during my climb last ssn, i didnt start seeing any rating gain until i started using my utility better.

it's rough af currently, but doable. i highly recommend you invest in a shadow crash, void eruption build vs double melee rather than a dark ascension mind spike build.@@shaneprince6572 if you're a spriest main, stick with it. if you're an alt, give up tho imo

Skill-Capped still keep wrong priority's for Devastation Evoker on their site. Devastation Evoker Stat Priority Versatility > Mastery > Haste = Critical Strike But Mastery is not a thing in PvP anymore, Versatility Critical Strike Item Level Haste Mastery Thats the oficial. As we see here Mastery is on last place. How i can trust website who show wrong information ? I ask for corection on their website like month ago. Of course nobody bother to correct it. They done great video, but how accurate is ?

Pretty sure haste is above crit no ? Am no rank 1 but am at 2.2k mmr in 3's (2.1 + rating) and 2.1 k rating in shuffle and am full haste/mastery gear and i pump.

Just confirmed our stat prio against Murlok and it's the same: murlok.io/evoker/devastation/3v3#stat-priority You must be looking at PvE stat priorities.
