What are your favorite conditions to go fishing?

I'll fish any weather, but my favorite is over cast and cooler temperatures. Early morning if I can drag everyone else out at that time.

I cannot be picky , I have learned to fish it all , not crazy with a blue bird as fishing can be tuff.
Dark drizzling day in a lake with very clear water right now this time of year

Thanks for watching!
Great video and information as always! I love the overcast and a little wind! I particularly like the time before a front starts moving in.

You can definitely have a good day before a storm!
I like the rainy hard west windy days at the river during the new moon cycle

Rainy days can be great days!
I really like those matted blades on those Crickets too. Just have a lot of confidence in them. And boy, you are right about the pressure. It went from zero to a hundred here overnight. Lol.

The lakes seem to get more and more packed with each year. I still blame covid, lol! On one hand, we have more anglers getting seriously into bass fishing so we get more views on our videos, which is certainly a good thing. On the other, our lakes and fisheries are under far more pressure than ever before.
Really nice fish! I like a beetle spin from the bank and I catch pretty much anything with it.

I use to throw a beetle spin almost all the time when I was a kid!
Thank you for the great answer.

I am a new subscriber from Central West Alabama. Great video I like to use plastics, recently started the whacky rig and getting bites. Looking forward to future videos and will be watching previous ones. Be safe.

Thanks so much! I'm happy you liked it!
I don't really mind the wind all that much because I have a few places I can duck out of it. Just a regular Walmart spinnerbait is my favorite bait to use.

Having a place to get out of rough winds is a nice thing to have!
I'm walking the bank tomorrow morning. 61 degrees, cloudy, calm winds ENE, 24 % chance of rain. Off the bat, I'll throw a gold bladed underspin with a Berkley Hit Worm, green pumpkin.

Sounds like a great plan!
Excellent video! You covered a lot of different conditions and I think that's really important.
As long as it ain't raining too hard I guess I'm good.

Heavy rain is a nightmare to try to fish in!
I was having a bit of a funk lately but last time out I caught a couple bass on a wacky rig green pumpkin worm.

That's awesome!
I prefer clear days with no wind. I never seem to do good when it's windy.

A lot of anglers don't like the wind, but it's like anything else. The more you do it, the better at it you get.
I was wondering if you could do a video of your boat . Model , length, motors. Looks cool to me. I like how you can lay your rod on top of the gunnels Sorry if off topic .

Nothing wrong with a good old Roboworm!
Sub 5 mph winds. Cloudy or sunny doesn’t seem to matter that much but windy I have almost no luck.

The wind can make things more challenging for sure!

Look for the calm parts near points or bends. Best bass fishing I've had from the bank was during a severe storm warning with 30mph winds prespawn. Bait was pinned down against the bank with a mud line where the bass was swimming in and out of hammering the baitfish. I was just using a chartreuse hairjig and not really retrieving it because the bass was keeping me from retrieving back to bank
Hey lowbrow, I only bank fish in central Florida where the water is really dirty, can see 6-12 inches down, we only fish from the bank, what should we throw?

Is there wind and current? If so, does it blow along the bank or into it? How deep is the water? What's the water temperature? Is it cloudy or sunny? If there is good current and wind, perhaps something like a spinnerbait with bright colors, or maybe a chatterbait. If that water is calm, I'd go with a jig with maybe a black/blue skirt or a bluegill-colored skirt. A white swim jig can also be a good choice. And in Florida, topwater is always on the table. But whenever you choose a bait, make sure you try to take all the conditions into consideration and see what mood those bass are in.
Lowbrow do you use swim jigs?? To me I have better luck with swim jigs than a bladed jigs..

Swim jigs are some of my favorite baits! So versatile!
