You two have turned my fishing around no end. I never managed to catch through winter in all the years i fished as a kid. Recently started back up and after watching hours of you guys i have had my best ever winter. Now to carry on what i’ve learnt into spring and summer. Thanks guys and keep up the great videos

The lesson that changed my fishing the most was by you lot, and that was 'Use a 4m landing net handle', and at first i was thinking 'Why would i need one so long? 2m is fine', but the difference is astonishing, its not about the length but the balance and that lets you maneuver it more easily for them Will Raison scoops.

Keep the faith gents, the magic is there every time you go pleasure fishing on a reservoir, river or a local pond! You could catch a smashing 7lb barbel or a Tesco trolley, look for the joy in each cast! 😂Lol

The way to keep the magic is to learn fook all and fish the way you did as a kid. I am utterly useless, I never learn and I use crap gear. But I am just a pleasure angler, so as long as I enjoy it, it's all good. Great chat as always chaps.

@@stevenmoses5807 Neil Dale PAA Coach at Heronbrook Fisheries Neil Dale was chosen to attend the very first Coaching Award Scheme in May 1999. Just to be chosen for the first course was a privilege, as so many people had applied. Coaching anglers is certainly not new to Neil, who used to own a fishing tackle shop at nearby Stone for ten years. The very first course run from the shop helped fourteen years old Simon Allen achieve a remarkable double in 1990 when he became NFA West Midland Regional Junior Champion and NFA National Junior Champion.

Do you guys ever think fishing one day will hit a point where it stops evolving or do you reckon some smart arse will develop another new method of catching fish just to confuse us all over again

Ever since people started fishing, someone has thought they'd got it all worked out.

Agreed. Happens in every walk of life, but things still keep evolving. Also, these guys represent the pinnacle of the sport, most of us are still discovering things every time we go fishing....usually just after it would have been useful...

It would be nice in these interviews with two top class anglers that they could get a word in. The Cameraman always interrupts them. Very annoying!!!
