I got an SD last week, just tested it out yesterday. My friends and I had joked around about "testing it out" on each other. After running a few magazines through it, that is utterly, completely off the table. I was firing into a cardboard target I stood up on the ground, two of the rounds buried themselves 5-6in deep in the ground at 12 yards. Totally impressive.

I’ve had some fun with the Eco kinetic rounds on my channel too. Not for defensive purposes though. I wouldn’t even use the plastic kinetic rounds for that. The Byrna is best suited for one thing only imo, chemical suffering.

for the same price, you can get a pepperball tcp thats 3x stronger. but the byrna looks the best, for what its worth.

Too bad you have the “safe” projectiles. Here in the US we have the real pepper projectiles which properly drop the aggressor. BTW, it’s not a gun as you commented, it’s a launcher.

the Byrna TCR is customizable to be more powerful from what I heard, it shoots pretty hard from what I've seen in other videos

I have the Byrna. the Eco balls are just for practice. They are designed to deccompose. They are not designed to replace the kinetic or chem rounds

Do a test with the LE. I think you’ll be very impressed. Lots more power.

It also depends on the Co2 Cartridge. Mixing some Cartridges lowers the rounds speed.

Hey guys, what's your opinion on using the heavier 3.9 gram "riot balls" in the Byrna? Or 5 gram also?

This is a bad ass gun i have one i carry it everywhere used it once and it sent the guy to the e.r all well maybe he will learn to not break into people's houses, after he was released from the e.r he went to jail 5 days later
