I completely disagree. This human transmutation scene is extremely boring in English, it seems like the actors don't know how to scream or speak loudly to bring emotion to the situation

@@kiliankieffer1771 This is an interesting take. Like, obviously, no disrespect to you or anyone else who has this preference, but I couldn't disagree more. I think it might have something to do with how folks are introduced to the series and obviously, personal taste. To me? The original doesn't get the same/right emotions at all. It sounds... idunno a little too over the top to the point where it's distratcing. There's some nuances in Vic and Maxey's voice performances that just hit different for me. To each, their own, though. I'm gonna keep following along and try to keep an open mind. Maybe see/feel what you guys mean.

I'll be honest. I don't like the English dub of Fullmetal. If we take this scene of human transmutation, it is much better in Japanese because of the power in the voices of the original Voice Actors, whereas in English it leaves a lot to be desired (not to mention that sometimes it even seems like they don't want to be dubbing).

Recommend SDF-Macross (and Robotech was argubly a key point in american animation history, so take that purists (though I myself so prefer SDF-maross)) or Robotech. 😛

FMAB is a better anime ADAPTATION of its manga than One Piece is. She should read One Piece to skip filler and pacing issues.
