These Hooks Make Thousands of Dollars!

Three hooks are the hack to success while offshore fishing South Florida. When fishing for toothy fish such as Kingfish, Mackerel, Wahoo, Barracuda and more; wire leader is not needed due to the triple hook back up. In this video I am joined by my friend @RyanIzfishing for some offshore chaos as we commercially fish for Kingfish. These fish are all sold to wholesale markets to feed families around the world. Later, Ill instruct you how exactly to make these three hooks stick together and never come unstuck!

The commercial fisherman here in Australia do the same method using 2 x 9/0 gang hooks, they put a dead pilchard/sardine on it. They use 150lb handlines and some bicycle inner tubes on their fingers

Saw Australians doing this but with dead baits, they actually have a “gang” hook mustard makes a 4202, and Gamakatsu makes one call the gangster but they do not sell them US. Really cool to not to use wire, dang the stabbbed fingertips. You’re the first vid I’ve seen of folks doing this in the US.

Great vid! On the cutting pliers, you can use the spot right under the fulcrum point to squeeze the hook eye closed 👍🏻 Definitely going to give the three hook rig a try the next time I am live bait fishing!
