People say this all the time, but the way Ethan eats with such gusto makes me absolutely believe hes made something really good
Nothing beats a spritz of Fresh Lemon Zeus! But seriously, cheers for the recipes! Those will - as per usually - come in very handy!

A little bit of Zeus really kicks your every day lamb to demi-god level. All in good fun, we know what you mean Ethan. Great video.
I'm one of those families who has a weird 3PM dinner for Thanksgiving, and I always feel hungry again later in the day. These short dinners are totally my jam and will save me from gorging on leftovers the same night.
You are the king of easy enough, healthy enough and TASTY meals. The cooking middle class GOAT. Whenever I need inspo, your channel is the first place I go, and generally the last place too.
Amazing easy recipes, man. Down 75ibs since prepping those low cal high protein chicken wraps you can freeze. I even customize myself! Appreciate you brother 🙏
Can we see a video on how recreate seasonings like the taco seasoning, the chicken taco seasoning, stir-fry seasoning, and more of those ready to go packets? It would also be great to see a cost break down and how much money we would save from just using the correct spices
You should put fresh mustard greens and scallions in your ginger chicken.
Super appreciate the healthy and easy recipes Ethan!
Love that these are simple but full of flavor. I enjoy your channel.
Missed these high protein low cal videos! Glad to see them make a come back - they've been a huge inspiration to my cooking!!
Loving not only the healthy recipes but that the cuisines are so different from your typical holiday fare. Gotta do this for Christmas!
Not sure why I've waited this long to subscribe. Your videos are extremely informative, and easy to follow.

Welcome aboard!
Dude just wanna say this. I happily wait for your videos and now especially for your mail. There's just so many stuff I can see and you collect everything I enjoy. These up here? Great as usual.
I made the chicken tinga last night in a bowl form - rice, refried beans, avocado, salsa etc. it was so good !! Thanks for the inspo
I love this channel. I have learned so much from you Ethan, thank you !
Best videos to encourage me to continue eating healthy. I fall in the holiday trap but this gave me good ideas!!
Ethan, your recipes are wonderfully pragmatic yet so flavorful. I love your palate. Thank you for sharing this.
Just made the tinga -- absolutely love it, it was delicious!
I just love this channel. Everytime a new video is released, I’m just so excited to watch it. I miss cooking now. Absolutely amazing video, your channel makes me happy. I am very honest. 😊
What a great concept for a video. Thank you.
Nice recipes to try! Thank you
I used a made-in pan I got through one of your links a while back to make a dish for Thanksgiving today. My father kept mentioning how high quality the pan felt. (It was the 12" stainless steel pan) I'll be purchasing one for him next week!
This is my favourite series
awesome video! thanks Ethan!
Made the snack wrap tonight, so quick and tasty
100% gonna try the frozen chicken tinga. I have been on the hunt for some good freezer meat recipes that don't have terrible textures.
Awesome vid, thanks!
Thank you always love your videos!
great inspiration - as always!
It cracks me up that your refrigerator door is full of condiments just like mine! I am sitting here trying to decide what to cook tonight ( tomorrow is Thanksgiving and I've been prepping and cooking whatever I can before hand). I had forgotten about chicken tinga, it's really good.
Man you’re always pre prepping (awesome) and freezing for longer storage (awesomer) with simple prep ideas….(also awesome scale) Have you ever done a “this is my freezer” for organizing proper usage/time/etc requirements and ideas? Like utilizing space, rotating easily, pairing, comparing prepped into a shopping list for fresh, etc… Cheap, healthy, and easy are always things I want to see👍✌️
I’ve really been in a quesadilla mood lately, I think this is gonna push me over the edge to make some
Ethan - my favorite is already the Ginger Chicken!! I am also a big ginger fan and look forward to it! Tinga Chicken will quickly follow after that as I enjoy hot & spicy. I will have to change the lamb with angus beef but looking forward to adding that to my high protein meal selection. TYSM!
Happy holidays to you also! Great video good content very time appropriate, excellent! Please keep them coming!
Perfect timing, I've been doing a ton of wraps lately :D
Alternatively to the chicken tinga method you propose, Internet Shaquille has a crock pot variation which is good too. Yours looks a little more flavourful though tbh. His is more of a super hands off type.

I have made Internet Shaquille’s recipe and can attest it is delicious! I’ve also made it with beef chuck for a braised beef. Equally as delicious as his chicken tinga recipe.

ethans was very low flavor for me. kinda wasted some chicken on what amounts to spicy tomato sauce with no bold flavors.
Mmmmm that ginger chicken sounds good. Thanks. Happy Thanksgiving. 🦃
Very helpful as we approach the holiday season! Been trying to cut down meat, so any vegetarian alternatives for future videos would be really beneficial.
Thank you for uploading just in time for me to eat breakfast
More of this!! 🔥🔥
Hey Ethan, your channel is my favorite cooking channel. It is my go to when I’m not sure what I want to eat, and has big Good Eats vibes ( my families favorite show when I was growing up). Recently I have been looking into the Slow Carb Diet by Tim Ferris, and was wondering if you would do a video based around that. Thanks!
Dude... You're a genius !
Thanks mate, happy xmas, happy Thanksgiving and good luck with your yt channel ✌️
Tried out the Chicken Tinga Quesadillas. Really good.
If you recall your pork carnitas video, I actually do chicken tinga almost exactly the same way. The sauce I use is more or less identical (although I use significantly more garlic and chipotle), but where I depart is that I blend the sauce with a carton of chicken stock and stew skinless boneless chicken thighs in it until they fall apart and the sauce is reduced.
thanks for making these healthy recipes that don't skip on taste, I'm thinking about getting into some calisthenics once i leave school and these are going to save my ass
I love the way the video cut away as you were trying to roll all of that filling into that tiny little lavash bread
Try the ginger chicken seasoned with fish sauce and white pepper instead... and throw in ciltrano at the end too! It's the same flavor profile as soup kenji made with lettuce, ginger, leftover chicken, little bit of fish sauce, little white pepper, chicken broth, and leftover rice. chef kiss
Hey Ethan, you should do a comparison video of different Prosciutto. American mades like Del Duca and italian made. Btw absolutely love your channel and content. Ive been completely hooked on your videos, keep up the great work and much love from VA.
So useful
Absolutely lovely... ❤
Hope we can get more fast high protein videos like this
Amazing video this is great
Gonna make this chicken recipe today
For anyone that has trouble finding xiosheng wine, Martin Yan (Yan Can Cook) uses dry sherry as a substitute.
Damn this is great! I like making chicken tinga and it’s been a while. Never thought about it as a healthy alternative! All of these look fantastic and handy!
Good man! Save for the big meals
Good recipe
Everything looks 💣, for sure..😋
Don’t forget to also enjoy yourself this holiday season!

Making this tonight! They were out of lavash wraps at the store so I’m using naan instead.
Hey Ethan! I've been binging your videos lately and was wondering if you could give us some insight in how many calories AND nutrional values do different types of food (e.g. potatoes, broccoli) lose or gain with the different methods of cooking but ALSO the time we took to cook them (boiling vegetables for more minutes, for example) Thank you in advance
I just made the quesadillas- damn! I was expecting them to be good, but not THAT good! Definitely making these again!!!
Very cool idea instead of jumping in on the saturated 'what to make for the holiday itself' train.
After Thanksgiving I have 2 birthday to attend, 3 holiday work parties, Christmas dinners and I go on vacation after Christmas through News Years. I anticipate gaining 20 pounds this month.
Made the chicken tinga quesadillas tonight and they were amazing! My toddler loves quesadillas but threw her quesadillas on the ground the last time I tried to sneak chicken into it. However she tore the tinga up!
My Grandma always had Thanksgiving ready between 1pm or 2pm. Which was perfect so we could make a turkey sandwich later in the evening while playing cards.
Gonna try the chicken tinga for sure!
im going to make both things.
I've accidentally made tinga a few times. Great for tomato enthusiasts.
Seeing Ethan freak out when he checks the chicken temp and says the target is 150 but he's 20 degrees over made me laugh so much 😂
Just tried the chiicken tinga recipe and I made a very spicy mistake- I misread "2-3 chipotles in adobo" as "2-3 cans of chipotles in adobo" 🥵 very tasty though in spite of the spice level!

Keep the white bits of your green onion so you can grow more green onion at home.
I just found your channel and can't stop watching all your content, it's so thorough and well made! Definitely developing a crush on you 😅👨🍳
the answer is simple, instead of prepping for thanksgiving by eating extra healthy foods, simply go on a bulk. Everyone knows winter is bulking season anyway. treat your meals everyday like it's thanksgiving. also, the absolutely biggest hack for easy hands off lean protein is to buy a instant pot. You can make like 8-10 lb of tasty seasoned shredded chicken like it's nothing then add to recipes throughout the week
ok but where is the golf course snacks video??? I'll bring a breakfast (or non breakfast depending on tee time) burrito to the course and that is kinda warm but still works and I split it with whoever of the 4-some I'm paired with. But aside from the classic dog at the turn, what are some good snacks to make to throw in the cooler and can be eaten cold aside from your typical sandwich.
Thanks for the videos! What size chipotles in adobo cans are you using?
always up for more healthy dishes! only wish you'd do less meat recipes, I try to eat it only every few days
for the chicken I would sear it in the same pot you're gonna make the sauce later, so you can deglaze it and incorporate that to the sauce.
Not so healthy, but we tried stuffing waffles with a waffle press four years ago which were amazing! Thanks for your videos!!
Bow before Lemon Zeus ⚡️ 🍋
When I do any sort of stirfry in the wok I think I overdo the Veggies. . .as in I add waay too many. The average stirfry for me has at least four veggies in large amounts. . . there is usually just enough room to stir in the meat to reheat it.
Could you make the tinga recipe in a slow cooker?
omigosh I can skin fresh ginger with a SPOON! Thanks, Ethan!
Lemon Zeus 💪 great stuff man! As always
And here I was thinking “when do you stop meal prepping before the holidays? How can you gauge the right time with leftovers without relying on takeout?” Of course Ethan Chlebowski’s comes in for the win
Every time I watch one of your videos, I think to myself, "I should really get another freezer..." 😆
Hi Ethan, new subscriber here and loving your channel! Question: how much chipotle powder and adobo sauce would you add to sub for the chipotle peppers in adobo? I can’t get that at my store
Might I suggest if you're stir frying chicken breast to marinade with some baking soda, I find that it helps keep the breast tender.
@smellypatel5272
6 ай бұрын
It doesn't help with tenderizing but it does help with velveting which is how Chinese American food has that typical nice texture
i know the views aren't the same compared to the experiments, but i'd love some more of these recipe vids.
I wonder if you could make the Ginger Chicken with the left over turkey?
Yum
I think the thing I feaar the most is the leftovers after the big meals. Its just me and my stepdad, but he still insists on getting an 11 lb ham for just the two of us, so for me, what I would need are options to use up that ham in more than a grill or sandwich
@audkorra6450

When I know my household will get tired of something, I immediately portion out and freeze the extra for future use. That way you can reduce prep time for your future self and not worry about 4 days of non-stop ham.
I have already tried the chicken tinga and ginger 🤤🤤🤤. I have a recipe for chicken tinga but it a little labor intensive. Yours is easy and taaaaaaaasty! Where are the macros on your webpage?
I loved your research on the subject. Request you to make a video on Kosher and Halal, please.
Great video as always, but you forgot to check the audio levels. Some parts are way louder than others.
3 pm Christmas dinner is not weird. Here's why... 6 pm Christmas Eve: eat charcuterie and ice cream punch. 9 am Christmas: eat sausage and crepes (fruit, pie filling yogurt), plus open some gifts that likely include treats. 3 pm Christmas: big turkey dinner, which would be too much if eaten earlier and would keep the kids and our overnight workers up too late if eaten later, plus we'd need to add lunch sandwiches or something. Then open gifts in a circle, youngest to oldest, one gift at a time. Then dessert. Take home leftovers, which I often reheat late that same night. When I cooked my own turkey, I'd freeze most of it with the traditional sides as my own frozen dinners, plus a day of leftovers and sandwiches, then make stew out of the bones slow simmering for about 24 hours until you get great bone broth. I'd also freeze some turkey alone or preferably with gravy or other sauce to add to various dishes. You can use it just like chicken.
