Looking at a big cloud of cichlid fry never gets old!

Recently introduced to your channel by a KZread suggestion (with regard to your building of tank stands). What a great job you are doing with your fish room (and your videos). Near the very end of this video (2:35) we can see why the fry are surviving: one of the parents chases a cichlid away from the vicinity of the baby brood. A great example of the wonders of Nature.

Amazing update! This is actually what got me into keeping Tanganikan Cichlids. I love watching the parents protect their frys unlike guppies that eat their young :(

why not just suction the fry out , is there something about raising fry i dont know or do you even plan to sell them or not ?

Hi! I don't have extra tanks to raise the fry separately, unfortunately. So I'm glad the parents are doing so well protecting them.
