The writing style reminds of how Skynyrd would put together great son arrangements while down in what they called The Hell House in Florida. Since it was near the water the acoustics were amazing. Ronnie would hear a riff that he liked and would tell the boys to keep going, then he'd take a walk by the water, maybe go fishing, and come up with the lyrics. Apparently, Ronnie never wrote any of them down Being compared to Skynyrd is not too shabby!

@@AdamPearceMusic Sorry for my suggestion, I know this song is not the style you would cover. I only suggested it because I always listen to this song and I think it's a good classic. this song is not rock and roll, neither blues nor country, but i think i like it because i got interested in the story of jesse james and the lyrics and melody of this song is very good.
Of course not having the melodic bass lines from Leon Wilkinson will be a challenge on One More Time

Hey Adam, in a separate reply I requested that you do a cover of One More Time from Skynyrd. I know it can be tough to cover certain songs with just an Acoustic guitar. So as an example, I mentioned how the Bass lines from Leon Wilkinson on One More Time add to the nice melodies & uniqueness of that particular song. Hope that helps to clarify, but if not, maybe Im just too behind on sleep lately, so some of my comments are not as coherent as I thought they were. Carry on!
