    I'm in same boat. I am blessed though. I have 800 sq foot shop on my property that has full accouterments so I save a ton not having to pay for storage plus I get a good tax write off on my mortgage. I do this full time, about 8 months now. I made a lot of mistakes in the beginning. But hey we're always learning yeah? I am just now at the point where I can contribute to our finances (been disabled for 10 years.) So I didn't give myself a salary int he beginning. Even now i dont pay myself much. I just cover a bill or 2 a month. It has taken a huge amount of stress off my girlfriend and this Christmas will be our best one in a long time. Praise God. I'm really proud of you man. Glad you are growing. I wish you the best and as always, thank you so much for all you have taught me.

    Thanks so much for watching and commenting! Definitely sounds like you're working hard to make it work with what life has thrown you. As long as you're moving forward and improving the business, I'd say you're doing a killer job (and sounds like your girlfriend really appreciates what you've been able to do). Wishing you the best as well!

    Thumbs up 👍 from me. Keep at it. Sometimes there are benefits other than financial with reselling. Removing stress is great and hope you gain more. Some of the disabled older vets that I have worked with and helped to eBay have shown very respectable improvements in their daily living. Usually in the form of just a hobby and interest since in their cases they really can’t make money or lose benefits as they are low/no income. But to be able to go out once in a while to a fast food restaurant and order whatever they want has made me think they have won a lottery jackpot. Everyone can go at their own pace disabled or not and activity alone is sometimes a grand benefit to some

    I left Active Duty Air Force after I began reselling. However, I joined the Air National Guard and I'm a full-time recruiter (which I love - get to change the lives of younger folks). My wife (who's a 1Lt) and love reselling, however, we enjoy it as a part-time gig to fund stuff we want. Keep up the awesome work!

    Great video. Got my like and subscribe :) My mother sells on Ebay and finds she can make enough to cover bills but your right its not a get rich quick thing. Finding product is probably her hardest thing because she lives in a small rural area so getting things on wholesale is trickier for her. Hope to pass that advice on to her though. She goes to thrift stores and Dollar Tree currently.

    You may have answered this question already but have you considered sourcing from AliExpress? I been playing around with the idea to add smaller items /hard goods. Do you have thoughts on that direction or have you heard anything positive or negative regarding that? Would it be worth the time? I would still source from yard sales, thrift stores etc. Thank you for your great videos!

    I've subscribed to already so many reseller's videos and I thought that was enough but watching you being so nice and humble made me subscribe to your channel too! Good luck with your business! Btw, I'm a reseller too and can you tell me how other resellers price their items so low like that of the Polo lounge pajamas that you shipped, give free shipping and still earn a couple of $$? I've always wondered about that!

    Thank you so much! That really means a lot. For those pajama pants, they were my dad's so I had zero dollars invested. They were also super light weight, so it only cost me about $4 to ship out. I only made a couple of dollars from that sale. Honestly, it's probably not worth the time to list items like that (even if they're free) in the future 😅

    Super cool to see someone so passionate about selling on eBay! I've been buying and selling on eBay for a little while now but only ever deal in collectibles. Have you found there to be any differences in selling collectible items (such as the video games you sold) as opposed to non-collectible items (such as clothing)? Are there pros and cons of selling each?

  • @Josh-Kim

    @Josh-Kim

    4 жыл бұрын

    Thanks for watching! Collectibles are definitely more fun for me to sell, and if you have a decent eye, the collectibles sell for a higher average selling price. Clothing isn't as exciting and the profit margins are usually a little smaller. But clothing is so plentiful that the profit I make from it really adds up to help pay the bills.

    Sourcing a business by driving around to thrift stores and garage sales and donations from your parents? That is going to get old real quick. But on the positive side you are doing it and showing some hustle and you will learn. I once worked at a furniture store that sold samples. Actually in the beginning they were samples but when they ran out then they just bought one of everything so it looked like samples. The place folded after a few years.
